This is a brief description of how to use the 4 remotes in our media room

1. Using the Remotes Cleo Figley

3. Remote Controls, Clickers, and Thingies my Parents Use #1 TV/Cable #2TV/TiVo #3TiVo #4 DVD

4. Remote Control #1 #1 controls the cable and TV To turn on the TV: Press the red button at the top right of #1 after pressing TV. To turn on the Cable: Press the red button after pressing CABLE. To turn off the TV and Cable: Press the red button. Channels operate as shown to the left: VOL control (mid-left) CHANNEL (mid-right)

5. Remote Control #2 #2 controls the TV to switch to HDMI 1 (TiVo) from HDMI 2 (cable TV). To turn on the TV: Press the red button at the top left of #2. To turn on the TiVo including Netflex: The TV/VIDEO button (to the left of MENU). Then move the curser from TV to HDMI1 and then press TV/VIDEO again to make the selection To turn off the TV and TiVo: Just press Press the red button (top left) on the #2 control.

6. Remote Control #3 #3 controls TiVo that controls taped TV shows (no HBO or other premium channels) and access to Netfix video streaming of hundreds of shows. First turn on the TV using the #2 and switching to HDMI1. To turn on the TiVo including: Press the top button with the TiVo logo. Use the Select arrows to move to the left until you are back to the main TiVo menu Once at the menu, the instructions are intuitive on how to search what we have taped for watching such as King of Queens, Sapranos, etc. When finished, just turn off the TV.

7. Remote Control #4 #4 controls the DVD player. Open and load (located to the left of the TV in the cabinet). Use #2 remote to turn on the TV, change TV/VIDEO setting to “VIDEO” and the DVD will begin playing on its own. When finished, just turn off the TV. Hope this was helpful. Thanks again for caring.
