QUALIFIED PROFESSIONAL TEACHERS
It is no coincidence that we have been at the forefront of providing language
opportunities for the last 30 years.We strongly believe that our teachers are
our main asset. It goes without saying that all our teachers are qualified
professionals. They are all highly motivated and committed to providing
the highest standard of language teaching. All our teachers follow a course
structure which takes into account the needs of all our students.
PARTTIME COURSE
(10 lessons / 7,5 hours per week, 1 lesson = 45 minutes)
This course will provide you with some insight into the language and its
cultural setting.
2 lessons daily will leave you with a lot of time to enjoy your vacation.
STANDARD COURSE
(20 lessons / 15 hours per week, 1 lesson = 45 minutes)
This is the perfect compromise between learning the language and
enjoying your free time. 4 lessons daily guarantee effective learn-
ing, while the morning or afternoon remains free for extra-curricular
activities. The minimum course duration is 2 weeks.
INTENSIVE COURSE
If you want to learn more intensively with the aim of gaining greater
fluency and accuracy more quickly then this course is your ideal option.
SUPERINTENSIVE COURSE
(40 lessons / 30 hours per week, 1 lesson = 45 minutes)
This is the ideal course for students who really want to challenge them-
selves academically. Students take 8 lessons per day from Monday to
Friday. This course is particularly recommended for university students.
BUSINESS LANGUAGE COURSE
This course is ideal for students and professionals who need to use a
foreign language for daily business correspondence. The course combines
6 lessons per day, 4 of which are the Standard Course and 2 of which spe-
cialise in business topics.
INDIVIDUAL COURSE
One-to-one language training is the quickest and most intensive way to
learn a language or to improve your language skills. The format of the les-
sons is totally determined by your needs and desires. Obviously, the hours
are flexible, allowing you to book them together with another courseoption.
ACADEMIC TERM /EXAM PREPARATION
(20lessons/15hoursor30lessons/22,5hoursperweek,1lesson=45min.)

ELEMENTARY LEVEL: You are able to talk about everyday activities and use basic grammatical
contructions. You can understand simple messages, instructions and directions.
On your first day you will take a language assessment test covering
grammar as well as vocabulary. This will ensure that you are assigned
to a class with students of the same level. The grid below proposes the

With Sprachcaffe you will achieve the language level and grade required to
enter the university of your choice.
To apply for our university placement you require:
• An elementary or intermediate level of the language spoken at the university
• All the necessary academic qualifications requested by the university for the
course of your choice
University requirements vary according to country and university: Applicants
for undergraduate courses must have completed college or high school
while students interested in a postgraduate degree generally need a good
bachelor's degree. Many courses or universities also have specific entry re-
quirements. Students need to meet the language requirements for higher
education:
Courses in Germany require applicants to pass DSH or TestDAF. In the UK,
North America and Malta universities usually require an IELTS score (or TOEFL
equivalent) of 6.0 for undergraduate and 6.5 - 7.0 for postgraduate courses.
Foundation courses require an IELTS score (or TOEFL equivalent) of 4.5 - 5.5.
Our preparation courses will help you achieve the grade required. Students
joining our programme with intermediate language knowledge and fluency
can usually reach the level required to join a university foundation or under-
graduate course within 24 weeks.

Many of our schools offer the option of residential accommodation. The
students live and learn under one roof, living together like a “big family”.
Depending on the destination you can choose between standard and
comfort accommodation, single or double rooms. Breakfast, half or full
board are available in some locations at an additional cost.
Sharing the same apartment with other international students encour-
ages you to talk in your new language. The fully-equipped apartments are
typically furnished and generally self-catering. Single or double rooms are
available.
STANDARD APARTMENTS: are ideal for the budget-conscious traveller.
The apartments with fully equipped kitchen and bathrooms are sometimes
directly on our campus or outside the school. At some locations you can
also book breakfast, half or full board.
COMFORT APARTMENTS: offer a better standard of location, size, furnish-
ing and equipment. The cleaning service is more frequent, usually twice a
week. At some locations you can also book breakfast, half or full board.
If you are interested not only in the language but also in the lifestyle, habits
and customs of the host country a homestay is a perfect choice. A variety of
host families are available, including families with or without children as well
as one-person households.
If you like a little distance from your lessons after school and more time for
yourself, hotel accommodation is the right choice for you. You can choose
from various types. For hotel bookings double rooms are only available for
two students who travel together.
Seeking more privacy? You have the choice of a studio with ensuite bath-
room and cooking facilities. This is your own apartment and you do not
share the kitchen or bathroom with others. Breakfast, half or full board is
available in some locations at an additional cost.

Our Sprachcaffe Languages Plus schools in Canada help internati-
onal students and professionals gain an educational work experi-
ence in a North American work environment. The Language Coop
Programme (LCP) formely known as the Study-Work Program con-
sists of a period of English or French study followed by a period of
work. The work can be either paid or unpaid, and the minimum
duration of the entire programme is 24 weeks.

unpaid specialized language practicums and general language
practicums in industries such as service, tourism, marketing, trade,
administration, design, hospitality, and IT. Thus, students have a

Review of eligibility:
Sprachcaffe Languages PLUS determines if prerequisites needed
for the program are met. We ask that:
a. Students have at least an intermediate level of English or
French. (If students do not meet this language proficiency
requirement, they will be expected to study at our schools
until the required English or French level is reached.)
b. Students have appropriate work experience and education
for the work desired.
Level check (if requested):
Our schools can send written evaluations or arrange telephone
interviews to ensure the students’ linguistic abilities in English
or French. This is a complimentary service.
Application to school:
Students or the agent representatives submit applications
to the schools of their choice. Students must register for a
minimum of 3 months in the Intensive or Super-Intensive
English or French Course. The length of the internship should
be equal to, or less than, the time of studies.
Canadian Student Visa application:
Students apply for the Canadian Study Permit in their home
country, or send the application to the United States if already
in Canada under a different visa.
Studies:
Students complete their language courses at our schools.
In addition to their lessons, students are given job skill
workshops during their studies to prepare them for their future
employment.
Placement:
Sprachcaffe Languages PLUS works with full placement students
to find the best possible job placements.
Communication and Follow-Up:
Sprachcaffe Languages PLUS maintains communication with
students and companies to ensure a successful course and
experience.

Paul’s Bay, near where St. Paul landed on Malta nearly 2000 years ago.The

SCHOOL INFORMATION
Sprachcaffe Languages PLUS, our school and world-wide headoffice is
located in a stylish and cosy area offering great shopping opportuni-
ties. The school has a café bar and a terrace where students can relax
between lessons. Cross the historical bridge“Eiserner Steg”and in a few
minutes you will arrive at the heart of the city. There you will find the
Römer, the historical square, and across the street is the Paulskirche, the
cradle of German democracy. All this amid Frankfurt´s skyscrapers and
bank buildings. All of Frankfurt´s museums are literally a two-minute
walk from the school. The museums look onto the Main river and are
popular places to sit and chat on a sunny day.
