Alligators and crocodiles live together in South Florida, the only place in the world where their habitats overlap. While alligators have long snouts and are slower than crocodiles, both reptiles have inhabited the earth for over 40 million years. Alligators primarily eat fish and deer but are also known as man-eating animals.
