Meadowview Care and Rehabilitation Center is pleased to introduce
the Notebook Café. Designed for people with Alzheimer’s disease, their
families and friends and anyone interested in dementia, this monthly
gathering is a fun mix of relaxation, resources and support. There are
no charges, no expectations and no judgments.

Our café is all about you—and for you.



                    Shake the Blues
                with Donna Newman-Bluestein
Our first monthly gathering will feature Dance Movement Therapist Donna Newman-
Bluestein. With a master’s degree in dance therapy and 34 years of experience, Donna’s ability
to combine joy with movement has helped her clients, their family members and staff. Come
and find out for yourself!

                    Thursday, May 17, 2012 • 2 – 4 p.m.

Donna uses humor, props and everyday movements to encourage people with dementia to
express themselves and experience a greater sense of vitality and connection with others. She
brings a loving heart, a sense of joy and toe-tapping music to her work.
