The ALTAIR is a reliable high-performance single-gas detector
with sensor options of H2S, CO or O2. There is no requirement
for maintenance over its 2 year lifetime making the ALTAIR an
extremely economical instrument.
The extra thick rubberised housing provides protection from
accidental drops and helps provide a tight seal, offering simple yet
effective resistance to water and dust ingress.
This instrument will continue to perform as long as battery capacity
allows. No calibration, sensor change or battery change is needed.
The superior triple alarm system fitted to the ALTAIR effectively
alerts the wearer to any danger. It consists of a distinctive audible
alarm of 95 dB at 30 cm, super-bright LEDs visible from a 320o angle
and a strong vibration alarm.
