Worst Year Of My Life Essay
The worst year of my life, or was it?
BEEP BEEP BEEP, screamed my alarm as it woke me up for school at 7:00 am. It was a cold,
windy, and snowy day early in March 2014. I was in 6th grade at Ringgold Middle School. My day
was going very well, at least until I got home. My mom had some very bad news she gave me when
she picked me up from the bus stop. She told me that her and my father were getting divorced. My
head was spinning, and I did not know how comprehend what she was saying to me. I felt very
upset, but I did not want to show it. I knew it would make my mom feel worse if she saw how sad,
scared, and upset I really was.
The next few months passed by and life seemed rather normal. My parents were not talking about
the divorce, nor were they fighting. We we even all went on our annual trip to Walt Disney World in
May! I was starting to think maybe they would change their minds and not go through with the
divorce. But, my mom sat down with my sisters and I and started to discuss us moving. I knew then
the divorce was still happening. She let me make the decision where we moved, as my sisters were
both in college and I would be the one most affected. She asked if I wanted to stay in my old school,
move to a new school district in our area, or move south and near the beach. My mom said if we
moved out of state, she wanted it to be South Carolina, as she always wanted to live in Charleston. I
had only been there on vacation, or if we were just driving through. My mom told us we had time to
think about it and decide, as we would not be moving until the end of 2014. The thought of living
somewhere new was scary, but it was also a little exciting! I chose to move to South Carolina!
As if the divorce and the thought of moving away wasn't enough to make my year stressful, I got
injured at baseball! It was a Saturday night in September and I was getting ready for a indoor
baseball game. We were warming up, and all of a sudden, BAM! I was hit in the face by a baseball
bat by my teammate, Mike. Luckily, I lost no teeth, and didn't break my jaw. I did, however, end up
with a giant brush burn on my cheek. I was very upset because it was our last game, and I was not
cleared to play. The next day I

Personal Analysis Of Friendship And Friendship : My Best...
Friendship is always being there for one another, even when it's not convenient. A friend is someone
that listens to what you have to say, values your opinion, and may still do something other than what
you suggested. My best friend and I met in Jazz Band, and they were the most compassionate, loyal,
and honest friend I've ever had. It's important for me to be able to be forthcoming about the various
situations going on in my life to my closest friend. To be my best friend a person has to understand
my quirks and help me through them, they have to understand that everyone needs a shoulder to cry
on sometimes, and that people aren't meant to keep feelings locked away. When my best friend and I
met, we didn't even talk to each other for at least a month. We were in the same class, but never said
a word to each other until I decided to share a fun fact with them over Instagram direct message.
Even then, I wouldn't have considered us friends, we were more acquaintances. I've never been great
at making friends, and sometimes I jump the gun and overestimate how friendly I can be or how
much I can rely on a person. This time however, they weren't a bit bothered by me leaning on them
for help. I had somehow attracted the attention of a complete stranger, who managed to get my
number from someone else, that claimed they went to school with me and saw me I the hallways.
The stranger proceeded to tell me what he thought of my appearance and his various opinions. When
this boy messaged me, I panicked, I cried, and I was scared. Then I sought help from my new friend.
I knew that they may not want to help me or turn me away, but I told them what was happening
anyways. Immediately, they comforted me helped me work up the courage to block the person on
every social media platform and block their phone number. This instance where they helped me find
courage may have been the first, but it was far from the last. Over the years that we had been friends
they helped me realize on multiple occasions that no one is "normal" and that it's okay to ask for
help. I've had anxiety for years, but once I went into high school everything went spiraling out of
control. I began to have more and more frequent panic attacks. Sometimes

Stereotypes In The Invention Of Wings
"'Life is arranged against us, Sarah. And it's brutally worse for Handful and her mother and sister.
We're all yearning for a wedge of sky, aren't we? I suspect God plants these yearnings in us so we'll
at least try and change the course of things. We must try, that's all'"(477). The novel The Invention
of Wings, strongly advocates for young women to rise above obstacles set in their everyday lives. It
encourages women to find their purpose regardless of sexist or racist stereotypes. The passage above
is spoken by Lucretia to Sarah when Sarah begins to look back at her life in dismay. She blames her
uncertain but seemingly inevitable gloomy future on the fact that she never led a conventional life of
a rich white educated woman from Charleston. Sarah in this point of the novel feels powerless
against the stereotypes and against the fact that she cannot help her childhood friend due to a
difference in their complexion. Once Lucretia speaks to her Sarah's whole perspective changes. This
passage is important to the novel because it is the point were Sarah reroutes her ambition to speak
out against slavery. women's ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The Invention of Wings, focuses mainly on Handful, a slave to the Grimkés' in Charleston, and her
family and friends. Handful's mother refuses to be content with the life she has been given and is in
constant search of an escape to get free. Her mother wants to live her full potential, but in order to
do this she feels she must be free. At the end of her life Mauma realizes that she will only be free
after she passes on. This passage is important to the novel because it lights a fire in Handful to
finally go and fulfill her full potential. This passage inspires Handful to go and live her life and seek
her freedom (Kidd). Without this passage Handful might have just stayed and lived the rest of her
life as a slave to the

20 Hour Observation Requirement : Charleston West Virginia...
Taylor, Arminda SW 131 Fall 2016 20 Hour Observation Requirement Charleston West Virginia:
The Prestera Center West Virginia State University Institute, WV When I came down town to find
the Prestera Center, I became lost right off and drove in circles for 20 minutes trying to find the
building. I finally asked someone and they pointed me in the right direction. The center is kind of
hidden by General Hospital, parking is across the street. The inner–change program is located in part
of the building that has a long hallway and several rooms. Most of the rooms are the counselor's and
social workers offices. One room is like a lounge that has a television, drinks, and snacks for the
kids. Another room is a classroom for the kids to be schooled in because they will not be attending
their regular school for the 6 weeks that they are at Prestera. The last room is the therapist room
where the kids spend most of their day talking with the therapist. The back door is secured with a
code and if you go through the front doors, you walk into a waiting room filled with clients waiting
to go back and be assessed. "Prestera Center impacts over 20,000 adults, children, and families

Cultural Autobiography Examples
Born in California and raised in the deep south, I grew up in two conflicting societies. The cultural
geography of both areas differs on a magnitude of levels and complicated my development into the
cultures around me, however in retrospect influenced me to be a multidimensional and considerate
person. At a young age my parents introduced me to progressive values. During the developmental
toddler stages, I immersed myself in two different cultures: what I experienced at school and what I
experienced at home. Charleston, South Carolina embodies small–town society though the Greater
Charleston Area expands rapidly each year, pulling migrants, including my family, to the growing
city. The overwhelmingly conservative views of Traditional Charleston ... Show more content on

Nevertheless, as we grew, my classmates and I no longer had the same attitude towards each other.
These unaware toddlers, subliminally primed to perceive the world around them as their parents
regard as fit, discerned the social ranking of each person in the room. I existed as the lonely piece in
the puzzle box that didn't fit anywhere, an estranged visitor who misplaced herself into their little
bubble of friends. I hardly received any invitations to affairs, such as American Girl Doll parties and
pool parties, as result of the monetary gap of what I could afford and the moral differences between
my family and that of my peers. My mom pushed me to ask if I could attend and suggested I bring
one of my stuffed animals instead, which of course came off as an atrocious idea to me at age 7. I
did not desire the connotation that bringing a regular stuffed animal to a party with girls who had
hundred dollar dolls would cause. Sour and ungrateful feelings began to plague my head due to what
I had, in comparison to those around me, did not constitute enough. I only became increasingly alien
to those around me as we all grew together and the separating factors in our lives were no longer
shallow material attributes as in what plantations a person's ancestors owned, how much money a
person's family had, or where a person had lived all their life. I could only imagine how
unfathomable nonreligious views appear to those who have been

They will actually have their two year wedding anniversary tomorrow. Cameran wore a simple ivory

sounds like Cameran had an amazing day, but just didn't let the Bravo cameras be involved in it at

Station Eleven Consequences
In the novel Station Eleven by Emily St. John Mandel, the story revolves around the theme of cause
and effect. One person's actions affects the future of all the other characters in this novel whether
directly or indirectly. The story goes back and forth in time revolving around the occurrence of the
Georgia Flu serving as a block between the world in peace and the post apocalyptic wasteland. The
reader sees the characters' lives before the Georgia Flu and transformed after it wipes out humanity
leaving a scarce amount of survivors. As the audience proceeds with the story, they begin to piece
together the source of their beliefs and fate to a single character and how that specific individual
who is Arthur Leander had played an immense role in affecting their fate. The characters that are
most affected by Arthur are Kirsten, Jeeven, and Clark.
Kirsten is introduced as a very young actress who takes part in the play of King Lear with Arthur
and witnesses his death. She later grows up to be involved with The Traveling Symphony who goes
from city to city reenacting plays from Shakespeare after the epidemic of the Georgia Flu. "Hello,'
Jeevan said, to the girl. He knelt before her. Why had no one come to take her away from all this?
She was watching the medics... The girl was still staring at Arthur. Jeevan moved to block her view."
(pg 6–7) Arthur's death would serve as a life changing moment for Kirsten impacting her personally.
In the days to come she grows up to take part in

Benefits Of Private School Education
How important is it for you to provide this for underprivileged students?
It's huge for me to help all kids, kids are our future if we give them all the tools they can do anything
they want in this world. For me, it's trying to put kids in the right situation, and give them the
opportunity to succeed in whatever field they choose.
Did you have many educational experiences such as the one that you're currently providing growing
up in SC?
I went to a private high school, my parents received help from a lot of anonymous donors that I'm
truly grateful for. It's cool that I'm in the position to help kids do the same thing that was given to
me.
How was the educational system for you growing up before you went to private school?
It was rough, I went to public school up into seventh grade my parents felt like private school was
going to help me be a better leader so they stressed a private school education. It was a dramatic
change for me, but I needed it for college, and for after college.
What's the difference between Public and Private School?
It was different, in Public school you have everyone from your neighborhood, and the surrounding
neighborhoods, it was fun, but going to private school is different, you have all these types of kids
from all over Charleston that were all about their education. It was a huge change for me and it took
me a while to adjust, but looking back it was the best decision that I made.

find interesting museums. Old Exchange and Provost Dungeon museum and Charleston City Market
were my favorite in Charleston while the National Naval Aviation Museum was my favorite in
Pensacola. These two cities are located in the South and both are in the upper 50% where the
dominant religion is Baptist. Precipitations in these areas are in the top 70%. Additionally, both
beaches have a huge play ground covered with sand closest to the water. Furthermore, these areas
have beach houses for rent with the expensive houses closest to the beach, and summer is the best
season of the year to visit these areas. Regardless the beach, be it Folly Beach or Pensacola Beach,

I was raised in the Maryland suburbs of Washington, DC. Silver Spring was a diverse community,
our neighbors were Yugoslavian, Korean, Italian, and included many others. There were many
ethnic–specific markets and restaurants near our house where we tried many different foods. Our
community pool was located in a conservative orthodox Jewish section of Silver Spring. Outside of
swim season, our family was included in many Passover seders, sukkoh parties and Bar/Bat
Mitzvah's through relationships developed on our swim team. I felt comfortable in our culturally
dynamic neighborhood and felt fewer pressures to be classified into a specific ethnic category.
When I was in middle school my father inherited his parent's house and our family made an
uncomfortable transition to Chevy Chase, Md. In contrast to the Silver Spring community, Chevy
Chase is a White, upper–class, wealthy suburb of Washington, DC. Many of our neighbors belonged

Douglas Egerton’s He Shall Go Out Free Essay
Douglas Egerton's He Shall Go Out Free In a time when revolution swept both Old World and New,
it should have been no surprise that eighteenth century Charleston would find revolution fermenting
among its slave population. In his book "He Shall Go Out Free", Douglas Egerton describes the life
of Denmark Vesey, a freed slave in Charleston, who held a deep and thinly–veiled hatred of slavery
and the city's ruling elite, and was best known for leading a failed attempt at revolt which cost his
life. However, Egerton argues one must look beyond the span of Vesey's lifetime to best understand
his impact upon the history of the city.

CONSPIRACY
Denmark Vesey's opposition to slavery was by no means veiled, and his inability to buy his family's
freedom only deepened his resentment (77). He often aired his views in the waterfront taverns that
were frequented by lower–class whites and freed slaves (100). An avid reader, he eagerly read anti–
slavery tracts, and followed newspaper accounts of the slave revolution in Saint Domingue (100).
By Christmas of 1821, Vesey decided he had little to lose by challenging the city's elite more
directly. At the age of fifty–four, he had lived well beyond average life expectancy for blacks, and
knew his time was running short (126). He told his close friend Rolla, a slave of Governor Bennett,
that they would have to "rise up and fight the whites (131)."
Vesey began to build a network of supporters who would help recruit and organize other slaves for
his planned revolt. However, he knew his rebels could not hold the city or force recognition of their
freedom. Instead, he planned for them to rise up at night, killing many whites while they slept. In the
ensuing chaos, they would seize ships to sail to Haiti, where slaves had revolted and established a
free nation (132).

The Conflict Of African Diaspora
Phillips's travelogue presents a deep scepticism about the terms like 'home', 'family', 'identity' etc.
According to Wendy W. Walters, "for Phillips the concept of Diaspora refuses to rest on a false
binary between home and exile, and his work repeatedly mines the complicated archives of both
black and white histories of slavery, exposing their endlessly interrelated natures" (112). Caryl
Phillips as a black Briton traces many complex meanings of the terms Diaspora. The term African
Diaspora is applied to dislocation of African people to other parts of the world. It is also applied for
the descendants of enslaved people during Atlantic slave trade, as Erica Still describes:

John was suffering from homesickness. "It was many months he had last seen them, and his heart,
far from going accustomed to their absence, was increasingly troubled by loneliness"(84). John

Phillips black identity is the main cause for his alienation. Even in Africa people asks questions

But he couldn't bring himself to killing his only son, the soon to be king. King Charles knew he had

Just one year ago Prince Ike had been standing at his mother's funeral, but it had seemed like a

Prince Ike, at such a young age, didn't want to go on without his mother, his best friend. Though it
was hard for Prince Ike he knew he had to get through it, for the kingdom's sake. His father had

The passage of time continues its long journey as present becomes the past. We, as humans, have
always viewed the past as a valuable asset capable of assisting us towards greater heights. We,
therefore, strive to preserve our history in order pass it to the next generation, without alterations. To
accomplish such a task, our society created monuments–structures that would last for long periods
of time and would be able to preserve our memories, understandings and perception of an event

Descriptive Essay On My Best Friend
Having a best friend is like having a second being to share your every movement and emotion with.
They are there for you in your saddest and happiest moments. They give you the truest opinions, but
will support you no matter what you decide to do. Once you become close enough with a person to
call them your best friend, you unconsciously begin having identical likes and dislikes. You become
inseparable, spending most of you days either hanging out or whining to them about any bothersome
matter that you come across. Those are some of the characteristics of being true close friends. You
never want them to be in harms way because you have developed a bond to that individual and
realized what an amazing person they are. Trust me when I tell you, I never wanted to see my best
friend of four years get hurt but when you are put in a situation like mine, it was bound to happen
one way or another. One of the biggest dilemmas I have encountered was deciding what to tell my
close friend and what not to for her own good. I would never have thought I would have to choose
between my best friend's trust or her happiness. As a freshman I, like most rookies in high school,
was a very bashful yet cheery young girl. I had chunky square glasses that where noticeably
unproportional to my face, almost completely encased my eyes. Being outgoing was one of my
strong suits however, I could just as easily switch to being overly introverted depending on who was
surrounding me. I had an overwhelming

Summary Of The Invention Of Wings, By Sue Monk Kidd
It is hard to wrap one's mind around the horrors slavery brings, which introduces the thought of how
slaves were able to persist and remain sane through the daily agony enforced upon them by their
owners. Hetty "Handful" for example, used the hope of freedom, to one day regain the wings in
which her race had been stripped of unreasonably, as motivation to keep fighting. Hetty and the high
society girl she was cast upon, Sarah Grimke, are quite similar, for they both have large aspirations
that are quite impossible to achieve in their given setting, Charleston, South Carolina. However,
once Sarah is exposed to the wonders of Pennsylvania with the Quakers, new hope arises for both
the girls. In "The Invention of Wings", Sue Monk Kidd displays contrasting settings to introduce the
difference in the two atmospheres in regards to freedom, women's rights, and simplicity. ... Show

which slavery is quite the norm, however she personally despises slavery. Ever since she was a little
girl, she dreaded the whippings of slaves. She witnessed a whipping as a young girl that scarred her

Personal Narrative Essay : Losing A Best Friend
Losing a Best Friend I pull up and rush inside. Would this be the last time I see my best friend of 10
years? The room is cold, plain, and white from the floor to the ceilings. A tall and slender man in
scrubs walks in and says that he would be brought into the room to see us in just a few minutes. The
man also explains how he would be dazed, due to the anesthesia from the surgery he had just
undergone. The surgery revealed that my best friend named Jack had cancer, and that he was too old
to undergo chemo. They bring him in, his glassy eyes look at me and his furry tail wags. He is
extremely underweight and his ribs show from under his thick black and white coat. He seems
happy for the first time in months. I later realize this is because it is the first time he had not been in
pain in so long. I say my goodbyes and rush out of the vet, tears streaming down my face. We were
not just losing a pet, but a family member. When we first started to notice a change in his energy
level and eating habits my entire family became worried. Jack wasn't as interested in his food, which
was extremely rare for him. When we first began to notice these changes we immediately knew
something was wrong. After a few days of his strange behavior my parents and I decided to take
Jack to the vet. We walk in the cold veterinarian office, unknowing that in only two short weeks this
would be the place that Jack would pass away. We get Jack checked in and sit down, impatiently

Descriptive Essay About A House
Arkansas, Only about a hour, maybe two hours long drive away from home. Over the course of the
day we meet new and different people, eat good food, and give gifts. Everyone is overly affectionate
and helps out in the kitchen. Squeezing around twenty people in the tiny house is a tight smoosh,
even if our family is almost half of that group. The house itself may not be that tiny but we're all
gathered in just the kitchen and living room, making it seem like a smaller space. At times, a few
people stroll out the glass door, onto the patio and into the back yard, yet even then it feels just a tad
crowded, especially since we were around people we'd never met. From long road trips to the ice
cream punch to eating way too many rice krispie treats in one sitting, every part of that day went
smoothly, giving off a joyful, pleasant vibe. Joyful is a great feeling to have around Christmas time.
The best part? It was all captured in one sweet picture.
Starting with my father, smiling into the camera with his fork mid–bite, his long sleeve shirt is beige
like the walls of a new house. A Hoyt hat sits on his bald head, the camera giving his face a shiny
glowing appearance. Next to him sits Mari, his girlfriend. She's the best friend of Maleeah, the host
of this party and the person cooking everything we're enjoying. Mari's hair is closer to white than it
is blonde, her roots still showing up on the darker side. Round sunglasses pull her hair out of her
face. The lines on her blouse

My Best Friend
The most influential relationship I've had in my life has been with my best friend of the last seven
years, Karsyn. She was one of the first people I got to know after moving to West Virginia. When I
first met her, we could not have been more different. There was nothing we had in common besides
the fact that we were on the same volleyball team. Even though we are not the same people we were
in sixth grade, that statement still holds true to this day.
Without going into too much detail, Karsyn's life growing up was much different than mine. Her
mom was married, left her husband for Karsyn's dad, she became pregnant with Karsyn, her dad was
mean to her mom, they separated, then her mom remarried another not–so–nice guy who she has
been with since 2004. Karsyn's life, for as long as I've known her and beyond, has been dictated
between court battle after court battle, her dad's stint in Afghanistan, and experiencing her mom's
new husband's physically/emotionally abusive tendencies. I, on the other hand, came from a, some
would call it, "normal" family. I have two (mostly) happily married parents, two dogs, and a little
sister. I went to church every Sunday and had a fairly uneventful childhood.
We were in the sixth grade when we met. Karsyn was living with her mom at the time because her
dad was serving in the military. The first time I met her mom, I was totally entranced. She was like a
real–life barbie doll. My mom doesn't wear makeup, so I, in turn, never learned how.

Personal Narrative: My Move
Moving, a word that is dreaded by many and instills anxiety at the moment it is heard. Moving
means picking up your entire life and starting a new life somewhere else. It could be a mere minutes
away to a new house, or hours away to a new state. Your whole world is changed, everything that
was 'normal' no longer is, and you are in a new place with new faces. You are now an outsider.
Growing up, I was accustomed to moving because my father was in the Marine Corps. Contrary to
popular belief, just because I moved a lot does not mean it got easier each time. Every move was
different and I had to deal with certain things unique to each move. However, there is one specific
move that presented me with a rather large obstacle. That move being my ... Show more content on

A fellow retired Marine my father had worked with offered him a job in Charleston, South Carolina.
Of course I had heard of Charleston, and visited there a few times, but I never really thought of it as
a place where people actually live. I most definitely never saw myself actually living there. I was
perfectly content with my friends, and life in Havelock, North Carolina. The reality of the situation
though was that I was moving to South Carolina and there was nothing I could really do about it.
This was the first move that really hit me. I thirteen years old, so I really understood the fact that I
was leaving my friends and I would probably never see them again. We arrived in South Carolina in
July and were actually going to be living in Goose Creek, which is about twenty minutes outside of
Charleston. School started in August so I had some time to use to the environment but I still knew
absolutely no one. I was going to start my first day of eighth grade knowing absolutely no one. That
was the main obstacle I had to overcome. My eighth grade year was not the best one out there, I
spent most of my time trying to figure out ways I could move back to North Carolina. I did not
make many friends, so that made the situation a little bit harder. I did however find a friend, Georgia
who made the second half of my eighth grade year a lot easier. It was definitely hard to get use to

Personal Narrative Essay : My Best Friend
Raising my head from my book all I could focus on was him. The way he stared at his paper, his
pencil flowing across the thinned lined paper. The sweat was now building on his forehead and I
could see his light blue eyes every so often glance up at the clock. I was done within the first 20
minutes but now with 5 minutes left I could see he was really struggling. I sat there as the time
wound down realizing that he would never look at me like the way I look at him.
His names Tom. We've been best friends since I moved to this Hell Hole in preschool. With less than
2 months left in our high school career I knew that if I didn't act now I would never do it. But, I
couldn't, it was Tom, our parents used to put us in the tub together. How could I go from preschool

Tom still looked at me like my 2nd grade self with pigtails, bulky glasses, and an ever so slightly
lisp when I said certain words. He was of course exactly 4 months older than me and brought it up

A Puzzle Of Life And Our World Life Essay
A Puzzle of Life
Time has a way to teach us the moment where our two different perspectives of life– spiritual life
and our world life, contradicts each other. As an American author of science fiction, RAY
CUMMINGS, said, "Time is what keeps everything from happening at once." After time gives us
the chance of getting to know our spiritual life, it is mostly seen that our world life contradicts with
it.
The night was freighting and rainy. The deep, rumbling noise that was heard in the sky during the
thunderstorm made my entire family go to bed early. The sky was as black as evil 's soul. There was
enormous lightning breaking through the dark sky, making our bedroom like a dance floor. The
flashes of light entering our room made me stay awake for a long period of time. The time seemed
frozen. I felt like centuries had passed. After midnight, all of a sudden my cousin had a scary and
disturbing nightmare. She began to talk, shout and cry in her sleep as if she was thwarted by
someone. Her reaction made me fear to death. At that terrific moment, I wanted to escape from that
dreadful room. Suddenly, she began to choke me and block my windpipe. I didn 't get the courage to
push her away and to get my breath back. I began to be unconscious, but I think I was aware of my
cousin in the room. My breathing got loud and noisy as if I had chronic asthma. I remembered the
time when my breathing slowed down and eventually become irregular. The rattling noise that came

Personal Narrative About A Trip To Wrightsville Beach
Starting this journey, Capt. and I knew we had friends to visit all along the Eastern seaboard and we

the next friends to visit are in Charleston. Before we even pulled in, I sent emails and track down
my dear friends it had been too long since I had seen. We all still had to go to work so we planned to

our beautiful home so we planned hors d'oeuvres on the boat and then dinner together someplace
they would know to be good. Preparing the hors d'oeuvres, I felt such anticipation and excitement to
see them and the minute Carl and Cathy walked down the dock we had big hugs all around. I was
thrilled to introduce such dear old friends to my best guy. As he shook each of their hands, Bill said
"she's always meeting people I've known forever. It's nice to meet people she's known a long time."
As soon as we stepped on board, Cathy announced she wanted to get the full tour. Bill and I are

I Have Been Dancing For 11 Years
I have been dancing for 11 years. I went from being in a little dance class to competing all around
Iowa and Illinois. However, I never thought about the history of dance before. This hidden history
project is the perfect time to learn the history behind something I am passionate about. I am going to
bring the history of dance to the light. To make sense of the history of dance we must look at what it
means to us in our everyday lives and how it has impacted us.
All it takes is one idea to start something amazing. The idea of dance when it first became noticed
was with the Greeks. Think of dance now. Now think of a bunch of Choro Greeks from theater,
dancing in a circle for the Gods. Can you believe dance was so simple during 600 BC?
Dance today involves a lot of technique, flexibility, and skill. The technique part of dance is pointing
toes, straight legs, jumps/leaps, and placement of the body. Technique is a very hard topic of dance
everything has to be very precise. This part of dance was established with modern dance which
would be during the 1880's. Dance has changed so much over time.
Why is the history of Dance important? It is a form of art that tells a story. Dance plays a role of self
expression. It has shaped our society for years. It is entertainment that many people rely on for
example professional dancers making a living off of dance. There are many more reasons why
people rely on dance, there is the fact that it is entertainment, a part of celebrations, and

Adventurous Moment Essay
Two Vacation Spots Adventure! Everyone probably has an adventurous moment they will remember.
When I explain my adventurous moment to friends, I never forget the scenarios that happen between
2010 and 2012. Fortunately, I visited two different cities in two different States during this time
doing the same activity, carrying out the same fun experience from an internship, but had different
results and likes. Initially, in the summer of 2010 I visit Folly Beach, and then summer 2011 was
Pensacola Beach, and finally was Folly Beach again during summer 2012. Not only do both beaches
clinch personal memories in my head, but both areas have something in common to pull your
interest, as well as they differ such that you can be able to choose where to spend a short vacation.
Fortunately, it was a sales internship, a program with Varsity Company International during which
we'll sell educational books during the summer to make some money, and at the end of the summer
the sales manager will choose one place where all participants will go to celebrate success.
Confidently, I became part of the program in 2010 and the memory wasn't impressive.
Unfortunately, 2010 memory wasn't the best due to the fact that Ruth Angelina was the closest
friend I met during the program; I didn't generate enough income to celebrate success and I was left
in the cold at Folly Beach by Ruth. Courageously, I went back in 2011 and the memory wasn't the
best either. Following the 12–week program, I was sick

Short Story : ' Cabin 10, By Richard Bullmer
For thousands of years, humans have believed in the principles of karma–that one's future is based
on their thoughts and actions of the present. Known in literature as poetic justice, it is the notion that
each character gets the end they deserve. Readers appreciate seeing virtue rewarded and crime
punished, as it affirms their own will to do good, and maintains that there is some great equalizing
force that will reward them for their suffering. The works chosen for the Independent Study Unit are
no exception–every character receives karmic consequences that are direct reflections of their
actions. In Swimming Lessons, Gil Coleman, who flitted from woman to woman without a care for
his wife, spends a decade heart–broken and alone. Ingrid ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net

It is not just Gil's affairs that make Ingrid feel cast aside. Often, Gil will be missing for long periods

Quotes From Paper Towns By John Green
In life, there is always that one person who is two faced and acts different around every person, and
their best friend sees who they actually are on all sides. In Paper Towns by John Green, Q is the best
friend of Margo and he sees who Margo really is, this causes Q to change and become fearless and
brave in his relationship with Margo. Q and Margo were best friends when they were kids and
Margo lived across the street from him. Margo was always the person to take risks and do anything
to learn new things and explore, and Q was always the cautions and careful person that didn't like
getting in trouble. For example, Q says,¨I took two small steps backwards. I remember thinking that

Now Q has changed from being a nervous person to a person who is brave. This is not only helping
Q become a Braver person but it is also making a better relationship between both of them. Q has
now changed and now is willing to take risks and is going to do all it takes to find Margo. For
instance, Q says, ¨She wanted me to play out the string, to find the place where she had stopped and
was waiting for me, to follow the breadcrumb trail until it dead–ended into her.¨(Green 117) Now Q
has a feeling that these clues are for him and for him to use these clues to find Margo. Q uses faith
and clues to push his way closer and closer to Margo and every time he finds another clue he is
given more courage. Q followed the clues and found Margo and when he got there he realized that
as everyone was putting her as a perfect person she couldn't live up to those standards, and the only
way to get away from all of that mess was to leave. For instance, Q says,¨That I realize that the idea
is not wrong but dangerous. What a treacherous thing it is to believe that a person is more than a
person.¨(Green 282) It was unfair to put someone up to standards that they could never achieve.
Margo tried to act different around different people to try to live up to everyone's standards but she
was tired of being fake and wanted to change and become the real Margo not the Margo that
everyone wanted her to

opposed to facing the basket? I think it could when you see how dominate Joel Embiid is I think
eventually it'll trend back there. The NBA is full of young players, what do you think about Ben
Simmons and the way he's developed? I think he's a great player, unfortunately, last year he was hurt
so he had to sit out, he used that as a redshirt year where he can sit back and watch the NBA, how he
can affect the game, and how he can fit in with his team. I think he's a great player that can do many
things on the court. I think after LeBron hit his decline or

Middle School Persuasive Speech
Middle school is a weird time for everyone I am pretty sure. The three–year time period is filled
with hormones, drama, and stinky boys who have yet to learn the wonders of deodorant. You find
friends, lose friends, everyone begins to get their first phones, you start "dating", and you gain a
whole new taste of freedom that you never had before that first day. All is which to be expected, but
the one thing you can not prepare an 11–year–old girl, who has lived in a tight perfect bubble her
whole life, for is the death of someone close to you, someone you have looked up to for over half of
your short life.
I have never been a person who favors change, I have had the same haircut, same bed spread, same
house, and same style my whole life. So leaving the safety of my familiar elementary school and
heading to the big bad middle school was incredibly difficult for me. I was a week into the school
year when my best friend of five years, Avery, stopped showing up. I knew it had something to do
with her mom. Avery's mom, Laurn, had a rare type of cancer that I could never quite remember the
name of. But for five years I watched her battle the extremely aggressive cancer. Avery and I did ...

But in reality, it's never their fault, It is your own, you're the only thing/person in this world holding
you back. There is nothing in your way of success besides a small amount of hard work and a
positive attitude. You can do anything in this world with the correct mindset. My change of heart
and mind had saved my life and I hope no one else has to go through such a terrible battle with
themselves like I had. I almost killed myself because I was so dang stubborn and didn't want to get
better. I had been my own enemy. I had saved myself in the end, but I had also been the one with the
knife to my throat the whole

Abstract
Many individuals have experienced problems with their hospitals or health care facilities. An
important concept that I learned from facing this family crisis that will be examined in this paper is
that, when a family member becomes seriously ill, they need quality medical care. Sometimes, when
a person 's life is at stake, the further a person lives from medical facilities which can offer quality
care can be a grave factor.

R.S.V in Infants This paper will examine several lessons and concepts which I learned from
personal life–learning experiences. Three examples that will be addressed in this paper will ... Show

I regretted the fact that we were not more prepared to deal with this crisis. Thus, I have since learned
that I need to research the qualifications of any professional my child will be receiving treatment
from. In the future, I will research hospitals or schools before enrolling my child in them. I can also
apply the concept that quality care is an important aspect of a person 's life to other situations as
well. For example, I will have to make sure that my child has a qualified pediatrician and dentist to
take care of his health needs in the future. I will also have to ensure that my child gets his
vaccinations. Moreover, I learned that there is no substitute for being prepared for an emergency
situation. I plan on researching the response time of our police and fire departments and plan to
learn about the efficiency of our ambulance services.
R.S.V 4 Another part of the lessons I learned while confronting this family crisis is how I learned
that high quality heath care is best provided by highly qualified doctors. I also learned that an
unqualified doctor may easily misdiagnose a patient 's symptoms. The discussion below will show
how I have learned to ask questions before selecting a pediatrician. My son was initially treated by a
pediatrician

Worst Year Of My Life Essay

  • 1. Worst Year Of My Life Essay The worst year of my life, or was it? BEEP BEEP BEEP, screamed my alarm as it woke me up for school at 7:00 am. It was a cold, windy, and snowy day early in March 2014. I was in 6th grade at Ringgold Middle School. My day was going very well, at least until I got home. My mom had some very bad news she gave me when she picked me up from the bus stop. She told me that her and my father were getting divorced. My head was spinning, and I did not know how comprehend what she was saying to me. I felt very upset, but I did not want to show it. I knew it would make my mom feel worse if she saw how sad, scared, and upset I really was. The next few months passed by and life seemed rather normal. My parents were not talking about the divorce, nor were they fighting. We we even all went on our annual trip to Walt Disney World in May! I was starting to think maybe they would change their minds and not go through with the divorce. But, my mom sat down with my sisters and I and started to discuss us moving. I knew then the divorce was still happening. She let me make the decision where we moved, as my sisters were both in college and I would be the one most affected. She asked if I wanted to stay in my old school, move to a new school district in our area, or move south and near the beach. My mom said if we moved out of state, she wanted it to be South Carolina, as she always wanted to live in Charleston. I had only been there on vacation, or if we were just driving through. My mom told us we had time to think about it and decide, as we would not be moving until the end of 2014. The thought of living somewhere new was scary, but it was also a little exciting! I chose to move to South Carolina! As if the divorce and the thought of moving away wasn't enough to make my year stressful, I got injured at baseball! It was a Saturday night in September and I was getting ready for a indoor baseball game. We were warming up, and all of a sudden, BAM! I was hit in the face by a baseball bat by my teammate, Mike. Luckily, I lost no teeth, and didn't break my jaw. I did, however, end up with a giant brush burn on my cheek. I was very upset because it was our last game, and I was not cleared to play. • 5. Personal Analysis Of Friendship And Friendship : My Best... Friendship is always being there for one another, even when it's not convenient. A friend is someone that listens to what you have to say, values your opinion, and may still do something other than what you suggested. My best friend and I met in Jazz Band, and they were the most compassionate, loyal, and honest friend I've ever had. It's important for me to be able to be forthcoming about the various situations going on in my life to my closest friend. To be my best friend a person has to understand my quirks and help me through them, they have to understand that everyone needs a shoulder to cry on sometimes, and that people aren't meant to keep feelings locked away. When my best friend and I met, we didn't even talk to each other for at least a month. We were in the same class, but never said a word to each other until I decided to share a fun fact with them over Instagram direct message. Even then, I wouldn't have considered us friends, we were more acquaintances. I've never been great at making friends, and sometimes I jump the gun and overestimate how friendly I can be or how much I can rely on a person. This time however, they weren't a bit bothered by me leaning on them for help. I had somehow attracted the attention of a complete stranger, who managed to get my number from someone else, that claimed they went to school with me and saw me I the hallways. The stranger proceeded to tell me what he thought of my appearance and his various opinions. When this boy messaged me, I panicked, I cried, and I was scared. Then I sought help from my new friend. I knew that they may not want to help me or turn me away, but I told them what was happening anyways. Immediately, they comforted me helped me work up the courage to block the person on every social media platform and block their phone number. This instance where they helped me find courage may have been the first, but it was far from the last. Over the years that we had been friends they helped me realize on multiple occasions that no one is "normal" and that it's okay to ask for help. I've had anxiety for years, but once I went into high school everything went spiraling out of control. I began to have more and more frequent panic attacks. Sometimes ... I suspect God plants these yearnings in us so we'll at least try and change the course of things. We must try, that's all'"(477). The novel The Invention of Wings, strongly advocates for young women to rise above obstacles set in their everyday lives. It encourages women to find their purpose regardless of sexist or racist stereotypes. The passage above is spoken by Lucretia to Sarah when Sarah begins to look back at her life in dismay. She blames her uncertain but seemingly inevitable gloomy future on the fact that she never led a conventional life of a rich white educated woman from Charleston. Sarah in this point of the novel feels powerless against the stereotypes and against the fact that she cannot help her childhood friend due to a difference in their complexion. Once Lucretia speaks to her Sarah's whole perspective changes. This passage is important to the novel because it is the point were Sarah reroutes her ambition to speak out against slavery. women's ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Her mother wants to live her full potential, but in order to do this she feels she must be free. At the end of her life Mauma realizes that she will only be free after she passes on. This passage is important to the novel because it lights a fire in Handful to finally go and fulfill her full potential. Taylor, Arminda SW 131 Fall 2016 20 Hour Observation Requirement Charleston West Virginia: The Prestera Center West Virginia State University Institute, WV When I came down town to find the Prestera Center, I became lost right off and drove in circles for 20 minutes trying to find the building. I finally asked someone and they pointed me in the right direction. The center is kind of hidden by General Hospital, parking is across the street. The inner–change program is located in part of the building that has a long hallway and several rooms. Most of the rooms are the counselor's and social workers offices. One room is like a lounge that has a television, drinks, and snacks for the kids. Another room is a classroom for the kids to be schooled in because they will not be attending their regular school for the 6 weeks that they are at Prestera. The last room is the therapist room where the kids spend most of their day talking with the therapist. The back door is secured with a code and if you go through the front doors, you walk into a waiting room filled with clients waiting to go back and be assessed. "Prestera Center impacts over 20,000 adults, children, and families across West Virginia each year and has been helping people lead happier, more fulfilling lives since 1967. The cultural geography of both areas differs on a magnitude of levels and complicated my development into the cultures around me, however in retrospect influenced me to be a multidimensional and considerate person. At a young age my parents introduced me to progressive values. During the developmental toddler stages, I immersed myself in two different cultures: what I experienced at school and what I experienced at home. Charleston, South Carolina embodies small–town society though the Greater Charleston Area expands rapidly each year, pulling migrants, including my family, to the growing city. The overwhelmingly conservative views of Traditional Charleston ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Nevertheless, as we grew, my classmates and I no longer had the same attitude towards each other. These unaware toddlers, subliminally primed to perceive the world around them as their parents regard as fit, discerned the social ranking of each person in the room. I existed as the lonely piece in the puzzle box that didn't fit anywhere, an estranged visitor who misplaced herself into their little bubble of friends. I hardly received any invitations to affairs, such as American Girl Doll parties and pool parties, as result of the monetary gap of what I could afford and the moral differences between my family and that of my peers. My mom pushed me to ask if I could attend and suggested I bring one of my stuffed animals instead, which of course came off as an atrocious idea to me at age 7. I did not desire the connotation that bringing a regular stuffed animal to a party with girls who had hundred dollar dolls would cause. Sour and ungrateful feelings began to plague my head due to what I had, in comparison to those around me, did not constitute enough. I only became increasingly alien to those around me as we all grew together and the separating factors in our lives were no longer shallow material attributes as in what plantations a person's ancestors owned, how much money a person's family had, or where a person had lived all their life. Douglas Egerton’s He Shall Go Out Free Essay Douglas Egerton's He Shall Go Out Free In a time when revolution swept both Old World and New, it should have been no surprise that eighteenth century Charleston would find revolution fermenting among its slave population. In his book "He Shall Go Out Free", Douglas Egerton describes the life of Denmark Vesey, a freed slave in Charleston, who held a deep and thinly–veiled hatred of slavery and the city's ruling elite, and was best known for leading a failed attempt at revolt which cost his life. CONSPIRACY Denmark Vesey's opposition to slavery was by no means veiled, and his inability to buy his family's freedom only deepened his resentment (77). He often aired his views in the waterfront taverns that were frequented by lower–class whites and freed slaves (100). An avid reader, he eagerly read anti– slavery tracts, and followed newspaper accounts of the slave revolution in Saint Domingue (100). By Christmas of 1821, Vesey decided he had little to lose by challenging the city's elite more directly. At the age of fifty–four, he had lived well beyond average life expectancy for blacks, and knew his time was running short (126). He told his close friend Rolla, a slave of Governor Bennett, that they would have to "rise up and fight the whites (131)." Vesey began to build a network of supporters who would help recruit and organize other slaves for his planned revolt. However, he knew his rebels could not hold the city or force recognition of their freedom. Instead, he planned for them to rise up at night, killing many whites while they slept. In the ensuing chaos, they would seize ships to sail to Haiti, where slaves had revolted and established a free nation (132). Walters, "for Phillips the concept of Diaspora refuses to rest on a false binary between home and exile, and his work repeatedly mines the complicated archives of both black and white histories of slavery, exposing their endlessly interrelated natures" (112). Caryl Phillips as a black Briton traces many complex meanings of the terms Diaspora. The term African Diaspora is applied to dislocation of African people to other parts of the world. • 97. My Best Friend The most influential relationship I've had in my life has been with my best friend of the last seven years, Karsyn. She was one of the first people I got to know after moving to West Virginia. When I first met her, we could not have been more different. There was nothing we had in common besides the fact that we were on the same volleyball team. Even though we are not the same people we were in sixth grade, that statement still holds true to this day. Without going into too much detail, Karsyn's life growing up was much different than mine. Her mom was married, left her husband for Karsyn's dad, she became pregnant with Karsyn, her dad was mean to her mom, they separated, then her mom remarried another not–so–nice guy who she has been with since 2004. Karsyn's life, for as long as I've known her and beyond, has been dictated between court battle after court battle, her dad's stint in Afghanistan, and experiencing her mom's new husband's physically/emotionally abusive tendencies. I, on the other hand, came from a, some would call it, "normal" family. I have two (mostly) happily married parents, two dogs, and a little sister. I went to church every Sunday and had a fairly uneventful childhood. We were in the sixth grade when we met. Karsyn was living with her mom at the time because her dad was serving in the military. The first time I met her mom, I was totally entranced. She was like a real–life barbie doll. My mom doesn't wear makeup, so I, in turn, never learned how. ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 101. Personal Narrative: My Move Moving, a word that is dreaded by many and instills anxiety at the moment it is heard. Moving means picking up your entire life and starting a new life somewhere else. It could be a mere minutes away to a new house, or hours away to a new state. Your whole world is changed, everything that was 'normal' no longer is, and you are in a new place with new faces. You are now an outsider. Growing up, I was accustomed to moving because my father was in the Marine Corps. Contrary to popular belief, just because I moved a lot does not mean it got easier each time. Every move was different and I had to deal with certain things unique to each move. However, there is one specific move that presented me with a rather large obstacle. That move being my ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... A fellow retired Marine my father had worked with offered him a job in Charleston, South Carolina. Of course I had heard of Charleston, and visited there a few times, but I never really thought of it as a place where people actually live. I most definitely never saw myself actually living there. I was perfectly content with my friends, and life in Havelock, North Carolina. The reality of the situation though was that I was moving to South Carolina and there was nothing I could really do about it. This was the first move that really hit me. I thirteen years old, so I really understood the fact that I was leaving my friends and I would probably never see them again. We arrived in South Carolina in July and were actually going to be living in Goose Creek, which is about twenty minutes outside of Charleston. School started in August so I had some time to use to the environment but I still knew absolutely no one. I was going to start my first day of eighth grade knowing absolutely no one. That was the main obstacle I had to overcome. My eighth grade year was not the best one out there, I spent most of my time trying to figure out ways I could move back to North Carolina. I did not make many friends, so that made the situation a little bit harder. I did however find a friend, Georgia who made the second half of my eighth grade year a lot easier. It was definitely hard to get use to the fact that I did not ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

The sweat was now building on his forehead and I could see his light blue eyes every so often glance up at the clock. I was done within the first 20 minutes but now with 5 minutes left I could see he was really struggling. I sat there as the time wound down realizing that he would never look at me like the way I look at him. His names Tom. We've been best friends since I moved to this Hell Hole in preschool. With less than 2 months left in our high school career I knew that if I didn't act now I would never do it. But, I couldn't, it was Tom, our parents used to put us in the tub together. How could I go from preschool showers with him after playing in the snow to actually wanting to shower with him.... Tom still looked at me like my 2nd grade self with pigtails, bulky glasses, and an ever so slightly lisp when I said certain words. He was of course exactly 4 months older than me and brought it up any chance he got. But, it wasn't just us, sadly. Tom told me everything, so I heard all of the vivid details of him and his girlfriend, Jennie. That lucky bitch. Jennie was blonde with blue eyes and just the stereotypical girl any guy would fall head first for. Including MY Tom. Jennie and Tom were going on their 3rd year of dating and there was no end in sight. Trust me I've tried anything. I've bribed girls to flirt with Tom, I've tried ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 117. A Puzzle Of Life And Our World Life Essay A Puzzle of Life Time has a way to teach us the moment where our two different perspectives of life– spiritual life and our world life, contradicts each other. As an American author of science fiction, RAY CUMMINGS, said, "Time is what keeps everything from happening at once." After time gives us the chance of getting to know our spiritual life, it is mostly seen that our world life contradicts with it. The night was freighting and rainy. The deep, rumbling noise that was heard in the sky during the thunderstorm made my entire family go to bed early. The sky was as black as evil 's soul. There was enormous lightning breaking through the dark sky, making our bedroom like a dance floor. The flashes of light entering our room made me stay awake for a long period of time. The time seemed frozen. I felt like centuries had passed. After midnight, all of a sudden my cousin had a scary and disturbing nightmare. She began to talk, shout and cry in her sleep as if she was thwarted by someone. Her reaction made me fear to death. At that terrific moment, I wanted to escape from that dreadful room. Suddenly, she began to choke me and block my windpipe. I didn 't get the courage to push her away and to get my breath back. I began to be unconscious, but I think I was aware of my cousin in the room. My breathing got loud and noisy as if I had chronic asthma. However, I never thought about the history of dance before. This hidden history project is the perfect time to learn the history behind something I am passionate about. I am going to bring the history of dance to the light. To make sense of the history of dance we must look at what it means to us in our everyday lives and how it has impacted us. All it takes is one idea to start something amazing. The idea of dance when it first became noticed was with the Greeks. Think of dance now. Now think of a bunch of Choro Greeks from theater, dancing in a circle for the Gods. Can you believe dance was so simple during 600 BC? Dance today involves a lot of technique, flexibility, and skill. The technique part of dance is pointing toes, straight legs, jumps/leaps, and placement of the body. Technique is a very hard topic of dance everything has to be very precise. This part of dance was established with modern dance which would be during the 1880's. Dance has changed so much over time. Why is the history of Dance important? It is a form of art that tells a story. Dance plays a role of self expression. It has shaped our society for years. It is entertainment that many people rely on for example professional dancers making a living off of dance. There are many more reasons why people rely on dance, there is the fact that it is entertainment, a part of celebrations, and ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

When I explain my adventurous moment to friends, I never forget the scenarios that happen between 2010 and 2012. Fortunately, I visited two different cities in two different States during this time doing the same activity, carrying out the same fun experience from an internship, but had different results and likes. Initially, in the summer of 2010 I visit Folly Beach, and then summer 2011 was Pensacola Beach, and finally was Folly Beach again during summer 2012. Not only do both beaches clinch personal memories in my head, but both areas have something in common to pull your interest, as well as they differ such that you can be able to choose where to spend a short vacation. Fortunately, it was a sales internship, a program with Varsity Company International during which we'll sell educational books during the summer to make some money, and at the end of the summer the sales manager will choose one place where all participants will go to celebrate success. Confidently, I became part of the program in 2010 and the memory wasn't impressive. Unfortunately, 2010 memory wasn't the best due to the fact that Ruth Angelina was the closest friend I met during the program; I didn't generate enough income to celebrate success and I was left in the cold at Folly Beach by Ruth. Known in literature as poetic justice, it is the notion that each character gets the end they deserve. Readers appreciate seeing virtue rewarded and crime punished, as it affirms their own will to do good, and maintains that there is some great equalizing force that will reward them for their suffering. The works chosen for the Independent Study Unit are no exception–every character receives karmic consequences that are direct reflections of their actions. Even when she is suffering for him, for example, going through this sickness to give him the children that he so badly desires, he is not there for her and not supportive. Gil's actions in the earlier stages of his life very clearly indicate how neglectful and disloyal he is to Ingrid. It is not just Gil's affairs that make Ingrid feel cast aside. Often, Gil will be missing for long periods of time on business trips trying to sell his books, or simply out of their shared bed at night writing. She writes, "there was one morning when you were gone from the bed [...] I opened one of the windows in the bedroom and heard the tapping of your typewriter, dulled and distant, and considered whether I might have misidentified my enemy–it wasn't other women, or Jonathan, but your writing." (106) Ingrid has many factors to be concerned about if she wants to be the main subject of Gil's affections. There are the other women he is known to seduce, his alcoholism, and his friend Jonathan. Quotes From Paper Towns By John Green In life, there is always that one person who is two faced and acts different around every person, and their best friend sees who they actually are on all sides. In Paper Towns by John Green, Q is the best friend of Margo and he sees who Margo really is, this causes Q to change and become fearless and brave in his relationship with Margo. Q and Margo were best friends when they were kids and Margo lived across the street from him. Margo was always the person to take risks and do anything to learn new things and explore, and Q was always the cautions and careful person that didn't like getting in trouble. This is not only helping Q become a Braver person but it is also making a better relationship between both of them. Q has now changed and now is willing to take risks and is going to do all it takes to find Margo. For instance, Q says, ¨She wanted me to play out the string, to find the place where she had stopped and was waiting for me, to follow the breadcrumb trail until it dead–ended into her.¨(Green 117) Now Q has a feeling that these clues are for him and for him to use these clues to find Margo. Q uses faith and clues to push his way closer and closer to Margo and every time he finds another clue he is given more courage. Q followed the clues and found Margo and when he got there he realized that as everyone was putting her as a perfect person she couldn't live up to those standards, and the only way to get away from all of that mess was to leave. For instance, Q says,¨That I realize that the idea is not wrong but dangerous. What a treacherous thing it is to believe that a person is more than a person.¨(Green 282) It was unfair to put someone up to standards that they could never achieve. Margo tried to act different around different people to try to live up to everyone's standards but she was tired of being fake and wanted to change and become the real Margo not the Margo that everyone wanted her to ... I think it is If you look at the Golden State Warriors and the Cleveland Cavalries, two of the best teams in the league, their best line up is when LeBron James, and Draymond Green are playing center, so the NBA is definitely trending that way. For example, I will have to make sure that my child has a qualified pediatrician and dentist to take care of his health needs in the future. I will also have to ensure that my child gets his vaccinations. Moreover, I learned that there is no substitute for being prepared for an emergency situation.
