The EXPO takes place in a specially equipped site and is

knowledge and experimentation in regard to the EXPO theme.
The role of the EXPO consists in something that goes beyond
mere showcasing of major technological innovations and
is oriented to the interpretation of collective challenges
that beckons humanity as a whole.
On March 31, 2008 in Paris, Member States of the BIE
(Bureau International des Expositions) chose Milan
as the seat of the Universal Exhibition of 2015
with 86 votes in favour to 65 against the rival Smyrna.

MANAGEMENT OF AUTOMATION
DEVICES FOR VEHICULAR AND
PEDESTRIAN ENTRANCES
Came will manage the access of staff and visitors to
the exhibition areas and other infrastructure of the Expo.
Solutions offering the latest technology will be
employed, for controlling access of 20 million visitors
with a daily average of more than 100 thousand visitors,
all connected with the ticketing system of the Expo.

Monitoring and management of automation
devices at pedestrian and vehicle entrances
as well as parking areas of the exhibition sites.
The system will also manage access of staff
and visitors to the exhibition spaces and
other infrastructures. The access points will
be monitored by 250 automatic turnstiles,
automations for gates, road barriers
and automatic bollards designed
to protect side roadways.
Came software and hardware systems allow
complete access management to each exhibition
space, making use of different technologies - from
RFID identification to QR Code - which will be one
of the distinctive elements of Expo Milano 2015.
A Came team will be present at the MOC (Main
Operation Center) and on the Expo site to ensure
fast and efficient assistance.
