Christopher
Lindquist
VMD
Co-‐Owner
&
Medical
Director,
Regional
Veterinary
Emergency
&
Specialty
Center
Turnersville,
NJ
Dr.
Lindquist
is
the
Co-‐Owner,
Medical
Director,
and
Chief
Culture
Officer
(CCO)
of
RegionalVet
in
Southern
NJ.
As
CCO,
he
is
responsible
for
shaping
the
culture
&
maintaining
the
core
values
of
the
hospital
by
providing
high-‐quality,
compassionate
care
to
everyone.
Within
the
hospital
infrastructure,
Dr.
Lindquist
promotes
individual
leadership
and
teamwork,
which
he
believes
to
be
instrumental
to
the
success
of
a
veterinary
hospital.
Outside
of
the
hospital,
Dr.
Lindquist
is
a
facilitator
of
the
Penn
Leadership
Experience
(PennLE),
where
he
empowers
his
PennWe
comrades
on
developing
skills
such
as
emotional
intelligence,
communication,
and
teamwork.
Dr.
Lindquist
is
married
with
two
sons
and
enjoys
extreme
workouts
as
a
teacher
and
participant
in
combat
conditioning.

Dallas,

Dr.
Pritt
is
the
Director
&
Vice
President
of
the
Women’s
Veterinary
Leadership
Development
Initiative
(WVLDI)—an
initiative
with
a
mission
to
support
women
in
seeking
and
achieving
leadership,
policy,
and
decision-‐making
positions
in
all
areas
of
veterinary
activity.
Dr.
Pritt’s
spent
3.5
years
in
private
practice
before
switching
to
a
field
in
biomedical
research
with
a
professional
focus
on
animal
welfare/regulatory
compliance.
Dr.
Pritt
is
noted
to
have
dealt
with
most
animal
research
regulatory
agencies:
USDA,
NIH,
DOD,
MSPCA,
FDA,
EPA,
DEA,
USFWS,
CDC,
PA
Game
Commission,
PA
Dog
Warden,
and
ISO.
She
has
received
many
awards
including
an
appreciation
award
from
the
Association
for
Women
Veterinarians
and
the
2012
TurnKey
Facility
Leader
of
the
Year
award.
Dr.
Pritt
married
her
husband
(who
is
not
a
veterinarian)
while
in
veterinary
school.
Jennifer
Smith
DVM,
DACVS
Hospital
Director
and
Chief
of
Surgery,
New
Jersey
Equine
Clinic
(NJEC)
Clarksburg,
NJ
Joining
the
NJEC
staff
in
2006,
Dr.
Smith
made
an
abrupt
transition
to
Hospital
Director
&
Chief
of
Surgery
this
past
year.
However,
she
is
much
more
adept
at
handling
sudden
transitions
than
most.
While
pursuing
a
BS
in
Mechanical
Engineering
&
Biomechanics
at
Worcester
Polytechnic
Institute
(WPI),
she
learned
of
the
BS/DVM
program
with
Tufts
University
and
completed
both
degrees
within
7
years.
As
a
child
Dr.
Smith
was
a
highly
skilled
hunter/jumper
rider
who
competed
all
along
the
East
Coast.
Following
an
internship
at
Rood
&
Riddle
Equine
Hospital
she
arrived
at
NBC
to
complete
a
surgical
residency.
She
received
an
appointment
as
a
lecturer
in
Large
Animal
Surgery
at
NBC.
During
her
time
at
NBC
she
was
“coaxed”
into
playing
for
the
faculty
ice
hockey
team,
which
turned
into
an
“addiction”
she
took
with
her
to
NJ.
Corinne
Sweeney
DVM,
DACVIM
Associate
Dean
for
New
Bolton
Center,
University
of
Pennsylvania
Kennett
Square,
PA
Dr.
Sweeney
is
the
Associate
Dean
of
NBC
&
the
appointed
Chairman
of
the
PA
Horse
Racing
Commission
(appointed
by
Gov.
Ed
Rendell,
2005).
Dr.
Sweeney
arrived
as
an
intern
to
NBC
over
30-‐yrs
ago.
A
specialist
in
equine
respiratory
diseases,
she
pioneered
the
early
studies
of
bleeding
in
Thoroughbred
racehorse.
She
met
her
husband
Ray
Sweeney
VMD,
DACVIM
–
Chief,
Section
of
Medicine
&
Ophthalmology,
NBC
Dept
of
Clinical
Studies—and
together
they
have
two
children:
a
son,
Ray
IV,
29
–
a
structural
engineer
&
a
daughter,
Corinne
[VII],
27—a
PhD
candidate
in
Clinical
Psychology.
“The
Sweeneys”
are
most
notable
for
their
distinguished
teaching.
Both
her
and
her
husband
gave
the
Class
of
2003
commencement
address—the
1st
time
veterinary
students
demanded
faculty
graduation
speakers.
Honors/Awards
earned
include:
Norden
Distinguished
Teaching
Award,
National
Academies
of
Practice
Distinguished
Practitioner
Award,
and
the
University
of
Pennsylvania
Lindback
Award
for
Distinguished
Teaching.
Joan
Hendricks
VMD,
PhD,
DACVIM
The
Gilbert

Kahn
Dean
of
Veterinary
Medicine,
University
of
Pennsylvania
Philadelphia,

Dr.
Joan
Hendricks
is
the
3rd
female
dean
of
a
US
veterinary
school
&
the
1st
for
Penn
Vet.
Prior
to
being
appointed
Dean
in
2006,
she
served
as
faculty
for
the
school
for
20
years
after
completing
her
residency
and
fellowship
subsequent
to
earning
her
VMD
&
PhD
at
the
University
of
Pennsylvania.
In
1997
Dr.
Hendricks
was
appointed
professorship
in
the
Department
of
Clinical
Studies
at
Penn
Vet
and
in
2001
Dr.
Hendricks
she
became
the
1st
woman
named
to
an
endowed
professorship—the
Henry
and
Corinne
R.
Bower
Professorship
of
Small
Animal
Medicine.
In
addition
to
being
the
chief
of
this
departmental
section
she
is
the
founding
director
of
the
Veterinary
Clinical
Investigation
Center
(VCIC).
Dr.
Hendricks
is
recognized
as
an
expert
in
the
field
of
sleep
and
sleep
disorders,
is
an
active
member
of
the
One
Health
Initiative
Advisory
Board,
and
holds
a
secondary
appointment
as
professor
in
the
Department
of
Medicine
at
Penn
Med.
She
is
married
with
two
children.
