Mix Book 1 – 2 Group Class
When
I
have
a
Mix
Group
Class,
I
try
to
achieve
that
the
children
who
have
less
level
can
participate
in
the
most
number
of
activities
possibles
I
take
the
less
level
like
a
reference
to
plan
my
group
class
activities
In
this
folder
we
have
exercises
for
a
mix
group
class
to
book
1
and
2.
The
exercises
with
the
same
number
must
be
done
at
the
same
time
by
the
two
different
groups
of
children.
Of
course,
all
the
exercises
can’t
be
done
in
a
session,
but,
when
I
plan
a
group
class,
I
must
have
enough
means
prepared
to
work,
because
an
exercise
that
sometimes
works
perfectly,
another
times
must
be
changed
because
it
hasn’t
the
expected
results.
Every
class
must
have
different
parts
that
haven’t
to
be
done
in
this
order,
we
can
change
the
duration,
the
order…
It
depends
on
the
children,
the
frame
of
mind
of
the
children,
the
hour
of
the
day,
the
weather….
A
basic
scheme
can
be:
-‐ Tune-‐Colocation-‐Bow
(5
minutes)
-‐ Warm
up
(8
minutes)
-‐ Posture
(8
Minutes)
-‐ Tune
(8
Minutes)
-‐ Sound
(8
Minutes)
-‐ Focus
(8
Minutes)
-‐ Pieces
–
Review
(10
Minutes)
-‐ End-‐Cooling
down
(5
Minutes)
In
the
next
pages
you
can
see
an
example
of
Mix
Group
class
where
the
book
1
only
can
play
twinkle.
With
a
different
exercises,
pupils
who
play
book
2,
can
develop
their
technique
without
rule
out
pupils
that
only
can
play
twinkle.
Of
course
that
the
possibilities
of
exercises
are
huge,
(for
example,
if
pupils
of
the
book
2
are
working
Judas
Macabeus,
we
can
work
ringing
sound
with
all
the
pupils)
The
reason
because
I
have
elected
this
mix
group
with
a
group
of
children
which
only
can
play
Twinkle
is
because
I
think
is
the
most
difficult
to
integrate
because
their
knowledge
of
the
instrument
is
limitated.
When
they
are
able
to
play
more
songs,
the
number
of
activities
is
exponentially
higher.
