Overall Market

        Since e-commerce is at such a high rate, Demographics help identify your

company into smaller and more specific groups. One important Demographic that should

be noticed when were talking about travel and activities would be Income. Three main

topics that can promote my overall market for my business would be Age. This is the

most important demographic for most companies but particularly mine. Age has the

biggest factor on traveling and activity planning. We will target our market towards

people with the right Age, enough Income, and on family size. You need to be a certain

age to schedule hotels and set up activities, so being able to access this website can help

people from ages 18-75 to set up activities around hotels.

        UrtimeUrfun.com feels that the age group that they should be marketing towards is

both males and females from ages that are mature enough to plan vacations and experiment with


activities. We will also be gearing our market toward families that can afford the activities that are


being provided. We will be targeting a family income from the minimum of $50,000. We feel this


level of Income is necessary because of total cost for hotel and activities; it can get into the high


price range. Most activities that are being presented by these near by parks consist of are family’s


of two or more people. We feel this is appropriate so businesses aren’t loosing money and


activities are affordable. We are trying to reach as much different groups as possible in the range


category. The median of a person is 42 years old. With our website trying to plan activities for


multiple age groups of people, we feel it’s necessary to range out our age group for our activities


from 12-50 years old. It is also proven that most regular web visitors are in a younger age
bracket, this being proven, most people would be more interested in travel and activities.

We used a marketing survey to show examples of how our business can be effective.
