Weekly Progress
As ID students want to show the status of temperature through by LED lights. LED lights need a
direct current, so we have to transfer the AC to be DC first.
We choose to use LNK306 for transferring the current. This one can transfer the AC to be DC
that’s different from other regulator circuits such as LM7805. Input of LNK306 is 220 AC Voltage,
and the circuit will provide a 12 DC Voltage. However, we still have to use transistor for driving a
current to LED.
If you want to know the value of these implements, you just find out the data of LNK306.

Engineering Analysis
Strong Point
- This one is better than regulator because it’s more constant than regulator.
- It is easy to use and not complex.
Weak Point
- The value current output is constant, can’t change as we want.
Next Week Job
We will buy some equipment for doing circuit.
