19. Ben Kreimer is a journalism technologist exploring the frontiers of
electronic journalism at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln’s Drone
Journalism Lab. He develops innovative applications for UAV aircraft
and crowd sourced microcomputer sensor platforms, providing new
ways of gathering data and interpreting events, environments and
characteristics of the physical world.
His drone work focus is on conceptualizing creative applications for
UAVs which can support mission driven projects and organizations.
Ben was recently in India for six months collaborating with journalists,
archaeologists and a Fulbright funded filmmaker. Some of his aerial
photos were published by the Times of India.
