BOB SLYDELL
So what you do is backup ALL the company's data, every day, to
tape drive?
TOM
Yes, yes, that, that's right.
BOB PORTER
Well, I have to ask, why can't the employees just do it
themselves?
TOM
Well, I’ll tell you why- because…employees are not good at
backing up their own data.
BOB SLYDELL
So you physically backup every PC and laptop to tape drive?
TOM
Well...no. Yeah- I mean, sometimes.
BOB SLYDELL
(growing impatient)
Well, what are you doing here?
TOM
Well, look, I already told you. I deal with the tape backups so
the employees don't have to!! I have technical skills!! I am
good at dealing with tape machines!!! Can't you understand
that?!? WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU PEOPLE?!!!!!!!

BOB SLYDELL
So, if you would, would you just walk us through your backup
process?
PETER
Well, I generally don't backup any computers- except my own. I
have this cute little USB drive plugged in behind my tower, that
way the boss doesn't see me (laughs). Besides that, I just
sorta…waste time.
BOB PORTER
Eh- Waste time?
PETER
Yeah (laughs). I just shuffle tapes around. But it looks like
I'm running backups! I'd probably, say, out of all our data,
about 15% of it is actually backed up.
(Bobs stare at Peter in amazement)
