1. Setting up
an
appointment
Learning Objective 1: Using CRM software, trainee will be able
to set up an appointment for a customer with their correct
appointment information without error.
2. We’ll start with setting up an
appointment with a potential
customer. You can review
your recent leads and
prospects to find potential
customers within your
contact history.
4. » Click “Appointment” on your toolbar, at the top of the screen
within the CRM system. Now, you should see a screen that shows
options for appointment type, day, etc.
5. » Select the appointment type. For this appointment, select “Meeting”
» Using the drop-down menus, select the date and time of the
appointment.
» Also on this screen you will add a description of the meeting. For
this appointment, use the description “Test – your name”
6. » Below description, in the Notes box, you can write information
about the appointment or customer, such as “bringing trade-in” or
“looking for a small, 2 door truck”
7. » Now, on the right side of the screen you can choose who the
appointment is for. Use the arrow button to view the drop down
menu and select the name of the person who will be meeting with
the prospective customer. The meeting will now appear on their
“My Day” screen.
» Click “Save”, and the appointment is scheduled.
