NEW! MAXStick™ Liner-free Direct Thermal Labels
Repacorp has teamed up with MAXStick to bring you the latest technology in liner-free
repositionable direct thermal label rolls. Repacorp will be carrying MAXStick label rolls in
our stock label catalog as well as offering custom solutions to meet your specifications.
No material waste:
MAXStick™ comes to you on a roll; you determine the label length, on site, depending
on your unique requirements! MAXStick uses variable length media adhesive and is
NOT dependent on black TOF marks or the 1” (25.4mm) intervals so as to not cut thru
the adhesive. Only the amount of label actually needed is used with MAXStick as it does
not need to advance to the next black TOF mark to cut. Plus, you can add marketing
messages to the end of receipts. Messages can be programmed to change daily,
weekly, or monthly!
Repositonable:
You can stick, remove, and restick MAXStick as many times as needed without losing
adhesive tack. MAXStick’s adhesive is a continuous linear band or pattern of
microsphere adhesive, not a patch semi-permanent adhesive. The microsphere property
of MAXStick’s repositionable adhesive allows the label to be reapplied many times
without leaving residue or damaging the surface area.
Printers:
MAXStick does not use silicon, which “gums up” your printer. According to thermal print
head manufacturers like Rohm, silicone release coatings cause premature wear to the
thermal print head due to the abrasivity of the silicone, reducing thermal print head life
from 35% to 40%.
MAXStick’s adhesive does not affect the cutting blade in the printer (over 100 kms of
MAXStick have been tested on thermal printers). Tests run by independent print cutter
mechanism suppliers and printer manufacturers found no failure or adhesive build-up on
the cutting mechanism after 1.5 million cuts.
MAXStick has been certified or approved for use by the major printer manufacturers
globally. These include, but are not limited to, Epson, Star Micronics, Citizen Systems,
Fujitsu, Cognitive TPG, Custom Engineering, and Intermec for both stationary and
mobile printers.
MAXStick is available in two thermal basis weights: 55 gsm and 80 gsm.
55 gsm – Consider using this weight for delivery labels, order receipts, pizza box labels,
menu item I.D. labels. Not recommended for barcode labeling or long-life labeling.
80 gsm – Consider using this weight for warehouse labeling, photo processing, price,
shelf and pallet labels, luggage tags, jewelry tags, medical industry
Environmental:
Due to MAXStick’s patented water-based coatings, MAXStick is fully recyclable,
biodegradable, and BP-A free. Although MAXStick does not come into direct contact
with the food; it has received approval from the USDA for use in the QSR and Fast
Casual Restaurant applications. MAXStick liner-free label products meet Title 21 of the
U.S. Food and Drug Administration requirements for materials under food and human
consumption.
Applications:
Applications for you might be inventory, shelf, plastic tote, or perhaps shipping labels.
Mail rooms and print shops use them to route mail. MAXStick is rapidly gaining
popularity in the restaurant industry – order tickets, exception labeling and even
coupons.
Liner-free thermal label for a penny or less per label. And, you can stick, remove, and
restick the label as many times as needed without damaging any surfaces or losing
adhesive tack. Being liner-free, there is no issue with having to dispose of a non-
biodegradable silicon label liner as with traditional labels. MAXStick is fully Recyclable,
Biodegradable, and BP-A Free…a truly Green product for today and tomorrow.
