PERFIL DE EGRESO (EXIT PROFILE)
Al concluir la Carrera de Idiomas los estudiantes demostrarán haber adquirido y
desarrollado las siguientes competencias, capacidades, habilidades, destrezas y
desempeños como resultados de su formación profesional:
1. Usa el idioma inglés a un nivel B2 del Common European Framework.
2. Maneja competentemente los métodos y estrategias metodológicas para la enseñanza
del idioma inglés según las exigencias del Teaching Knowledge Test (TKT)
3. Diseña programas o cursos específicos y sus respectivos materiales didácticos.
4. Elabora materiales didácticos mediante la utilización de NTIC´s.
5. Transforma el contexto educativo a tráves de la práctica de valores.
6. Genera escenarios de aprendizaje significativos dando lugar a la investigación
participativa, el aprendizaje basado en problemas y el trabajo en equipo.
7. Maneja leyes y reglamentos de Educación Ecuatoriana.
8. Aplica técnicas de valoración de los aprendizajes, así como también de su propio
desempeño docente.
9. Manejo de los aspectos sociales, intelectuales y psicológicos de los estudiantes para

What are your reasons for studying at “Carrera de Idiomas”?
It is a very interesting and I would like to learn much more because English
is one of the most spoken languages in the world and could open many
doors
What are your own goals for this subject/syllabus?
In this syllabus my goal is to keep learning what vocabulary and
pronunciation for more expression and the language is a bit difficult for me

My goals are effort and daily work because this is a race of great sacrifice

III. COURSE DESCRIPTION AND OBJECTIVES
Purpose: The aim of this syllabus is to help students to develop their listening
competence through exercises that allow them to see the different purposes of listening
when people communicate.
Course Description: (Abstract)
To identify common phrases and expressions to talk about types of listening,
introductions, greetings, family members, and numbers. Recognize terminology to
express ideas related to food, daily activities, clothes and colors. Notice vocabulary and
correct pronunciation to describe houses and rooms, time, plans and movies.
Illustrate confidentially information about daily routines, places and customs. Apply
basic vocabulary to give characteristics of occupations, festivities, inventions and tales.
At the end of this term, students will have achieved an A2 Level, described in the CEF,
in which students can: comprehend sentences and everyday language involve in areas
of existing significance; communicate in common and routine activities demanding an
elementary and direct communication about familiar and usual matters; define in
common words characteristics of their backdrop, current setting and matters in essential
fields.

FINAL REFLECTION
I learned many new things in this program but more importantly I learned new
vocabulary that is helping me to better understand the classes throughout the
semester
For me learning outcomes they have been because I learned many new things
new verbs and sentence structure thanks to good teaching my teacher I have
gained a better understanding of the classes
One of the strategies that I have used is to read the texts again and again to
improve my pronunciation as it was initially very difficult to read me another
strategy that has helped me is to listen to music in English and I can better hear
the pronunciation of words

Usa el idioma inglés a un nivel B2 del Common European Framework. 2. Maneja competentemente los métodos y estrategias metodológicas para la enseñanza del idioma inglés según las exigencias del Teaching Knowledge Test (TKT) 3. Diseña programas o cursos específicos y sus respectivos materiales didácticos. 4. Elabora materiales didácticos mediante la utilización de NTIC´s. 5. Transforma el contexto educativo a tráves de la práctica de valores. 6. Genera escenarios de aprendizaje significativos dando lugar a la investigación participativa, el aprendizaje basado en problemas y el trabajo en equipo. 7. It is a very interesting and I would like to learn much more because English is one of the most spoken languages in the world and could open many doors What are your own goals for this subject/syllabus? In this syllabus my goal is to keep learning what vocabulary and pronunciation for more expression and the language is a bit difficult for me How will you achieve your goals?
