How You Can Partner With Us
Evangelizing the Jewish
people is important to
God. You can partner with
Shofarel Jewish Ministries
in three ways. You can pray
for the ministry that God
would provide divine appointments with Jewish
people who are ready to hear the truth of their
Jewish Messiah. Prayer partners are vital to our
ministry and God commands that we pray for the
peace of Jerusalem.
You can join us in community outreaches in the
Jewish community. We will train you to share the
Gospel with Jewish people and become a witness.
The Holy Spirit, according to the will of God, has
given each believer spiritual gifts. However, every
believer is commanded to share the Gospel of our
Messiah in Matthew 28.
Finally, you can be a financial supporter by provid-
ing a monthly financial gift or a one-time donation
that we can use to purchase books and tracts that
resonant with Jewish Biblical understanding of the
Scriptures which confirm that Jesus is the Jewish Mes-
siah. God commands his people to support and send
missionaries to the world and the Jewish people.
We would love to partner with you. Please fill out
the panel with your contact information so that
we may stay in touch. If you provide your email
address you will receive our monthly newsletter so
that you will know how to pray for our ministry.
Shofarel Jewish Ministries is a certified 501 (c)3
charitable organization. All financial gifts to this
ministry are tax deductible. Please make all checks
payable to Shofarel Jewish Ministries. If you would
like a tax receipt sent to you for your tax records
you must include your name and address so that a
receipt can be sent.
Robert and Herta Pristoop
Robert came from a
family where his father
was raised in the Ortho-
dox Jewish tradition, and
his mother, an immigrant
from Naples, Italy, con-
verted from Catholicism to Judaism. They observed
traditions of both religions, celebrating the Jewish
Holy Days with his father’s family and secular Christ-
mas and Easter at home. After spending 27 years as
a police detective, Robert felt called into ministry.
Upon retirement in February 2009, he enrolled in
the Feinberg Center for Messianic Jewish Studies,
with Talbot Theological Seminary, where he com-
pleted his Master of Divinity degree in Messianic
Jewish studies. Robert holds a double ordination, as
Messianic Rabbi and a Baptist Pastor. After several
years of serving as a missionary with Chosen People
Ministries, he resigned to answer a call to plant a
new Messianic Congregation and serve with Sho-
farel Jewish Ministries. Robert travels the country
speaking on the Jewish roots of the Christian faith
in churches and schools. Robert leads a Messianic
Congregation, teaches Bible studies and seminars
on witnessing to Jewish people, hosts Passover
Seders and provides teachings and demonstrations
on the Shofar.
Robert’s desire is to reach his Jewish people with
the Good News of the Jewish Messiah. Robert and
his wife, Herta, enjoy sharing the Jewish roots of the
Christian faith and would love an opportunity to
partner with you and your church.

Jesus Came
to Bring Salvation
to the World
Jesus came to fulfill the promise
that God made to Abraham, that
through his seed all the nations
would be blessed (Genesis 18:18,
22:18). God had a plan to redeem
not just the Jewish people, but
people from every tribe, tongue
and nation who would trust in
the seed of Abraham. Jesus came
as a babe in a manger to bring salvation to his Jewish
people first and then to the Gentile nations (Matthew
15:24, Romans 1:16). The Jewish people can only gain
salvation through faith in their Jewish Messiah Jesus.
In fact, it is so important for Jewish people to come
to know Jesus as their Jewish Messiah that Jesus said
that he will not return until the Jewish people came
to faith. Jesus said,“Jerusalem, Jerusalem, you who
kill the prophets and stone those sent to you, how
often I have longed to gather your children together,
as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, and
you were not willing.  Look, your house is left to you
desolate. For I tell you, you will not see me again until
you say,‘Blessed is he who comes in the name of the
Lord”(Matthew 23:37-39). This is why it is so import-
ant to witness to Jewish people the truth of their
Jewish Messiah.
Jewish evangelism is a difficult
ministry.  Satan understands that
when the Jewish people come
to trust Jesus as their Messiah,
Jesus will return and Satan will be
bound and cast into the Lake of
Fire. Knowing his fate at Messiah’s
second coming, Satan has been
diligent over the centuries to dis-
tort the truth and person of Jesus.
Sadly, many atrocities have been
committed against the Jewish peo-
ple “in the name of Jesus.” The
Crusades, the Inquisition, forced conversions, the blood
libel, the Holocaust and more have been used by Satan
to make the possibility of Jesus being the Jewish Mes-
siah so odious to the Jewish mind that seeing Jesus as
Messiah is nearly impossible.
However, we also have read the entire Bible and know
that nothing is impossible with God! The partial hard-
ening that Israel is experiencing means great spiritual
riches for the world.“Again I ask: Did they stumble so
as to fall beyond recovery? Not at all! Rather, because
of their transgression, salvation has come to the Gen-
tiles to make Israel envious. But if their transgression
means riches for the world, and their loss means riches
for the Gentiles, how much greater riches will their full
inclusion bring! (Romans 11:11-12).”
In fact we know that God’s plans for the salvation of
Israel has not changed. Hear the words of the Apostle
Paul in Romans 11:25-26,
“I do not want you to be ignorant of this mystery,
brothers and sisters, so that you may not be conceit-
ed: Israel has experienced a hardening in part until
the full number of the Gentiles has come in, and in
this way all Israel will be saved.”God has not forgot-
ten his Jewish people and neither can the church.
My desire, like that of the Apostle Paul, is that the
Jewish people would come to know Jesus as their
Jewish Messiah. Romans 10:1-4 says this,
“Brothers and sisters, my heart’s desire and prayer to
God for the Israelites is that they may be saved. For I
can testify about them that they are zealous for God,
but their zeal is not based on knowledge. Since they
did not know the righteousness of God and sought
to establish their own, they did not submit to God’s
righteousness. Messiah is the culmination of the law
so that there may be righteousness for everyone who
believes.”
However, Jewish people who come to faith in Jesus
as Messiah face many trials that Gentiles do not.
Judaism is a way of life. Jewish people who come to
faith in Jesus often lose the support of their family
and community. Many families will treat a Jewish
believer in Jesus as if he had died, even having a
mock funeral followed by excommunication from
the community. As Paul said, the Jewish people are
zealous for God but without knowledge. But God’s
plan for the Jewish people will be fulfilled!
Shofarel Jewish Ministries
is committed to bringing the truth of the Jewish
Messiah to the Jewish people. We have weekly and
monthly outreaches to the Jewish community.
We have a Messianic Jewish Congregation where
Jewish people can come and experience the love of
Jesus with a Jewish worship service. Our congrega-
tion, Mishkan HaShofar is a place for Jewish people
and Gentiles to share the Jewish Messiah in spirit
and truth.
Members of the congregation in coordination with
Shofarel Jewish Ministries go to the Jewish people
with an active witness of Jesus. Handing out tracts
and books that show a Jewish Jesus, teaching Bible
studies from the Hebrew and Greek, meeting one
on one with Jewish pre-believers to answer their
questions about Jesus and celebrating the Jewish
Holy days are some of the ways that we reach out
to the Jewish community.
We also are committed to teaching and preaching
the Jewish roots of the Christian faith in churches
and Christian schools. After all, Paul said in Romans
10:14-15,“How, then, can they call on the one they
have not believed in? And how can they believe
in the one of whom they have not heard? And
how can they hear without someone preaching to
them? And how can anyone preach unless they are
sent? As it is written:“How beautiful are the feet of
those who bring good news!”
“ButyouwillreceivepowerwhentheHolySpiritcomesonyou;andyouwillbemywitnessesinJerusalem,andinallJudeaandSamaria,andtotheendsoftheearth.” (Acts1:8)
