If you have seen my infographic on Slideshare then you will know that the brain processes images 60,000 times faster than text and that last year, the number of images on the platform jumped by 53%! What is more, Tweets with images receive 89% more favourites and 150% more retweets whilst Facebook posts with images receive 87% of total interaction. We are also rolling out some great training for recruiters to pump up the volume on their adverts. Thus, finding images that are royalty free is very important as images are critical to your social success. Don’t Get Sued – Get Seen Copyright law is stricter than ever right now despite the internet making images and ideas more accessible than ever before! Software exists to scan the web, look for images which are being used illegally – no-one is safe! Creative Commons attempts to get around this as it allows people to grant access for the use of content, both for private and commercial use.
