Unit summary<br />This unit entails basic concepts about the nervous system; its two main parts and their functions as well.<br />It will also inform the students about the sub-parts of the major parts of the nervous system.<br />Students will mention different actions being performed by the body and they will relate it to the function of the nervous system.<br />

CFQ’S<br />Essential Question<br />Who controls your life?<br />Unit Questions<br />- Who takes control of our body?<br />- What do we use to control our selves?<br />Content Questions<br />- what are the two major parts of the nervous system?<br />- It is called as the body’s “control central”?<br />- What part of the nervous system controls the most basic life functions?<br />- What part of the brain controls the autonomic activities?<br />
  4. 4. Students Outputs<br />An illustration of the nervous system with labels.<br />Questions about the nervous system that will be answered by their other classmates.<br />List of some importance of the nervous system.<br />

Assessing the Students<br />Students will have to prepare at least 2 questions about what they have understood in the simple discussion about the nervous system<br />The questions they will prepare will be thrown to their classmates, and the chosen student will have to answer that question.<br />
  6. 6. General Goals that my students should know!<br />Identify the major parts of the nervous system.<br />Explain the function of each part.<br />Illustrate how the nervous system works.<br />

Things I want my students to learn <br />They should be able to exercise their questioning ability through the activity given to them.<br />They should be able to draw the major parts of the nervous system.<br />I want them to recite some of the importance of the nervous system, according to what they understood.<br />
