After getting out of the Army in 1998 I have been a software engineer/architect that specializes in data driven web applications primarily focused on social networking and ecommerce platforms. My technology focus has revolved around Microsoft offerings from the start. But I have always been a "right tool for the job" kind of guy and have kept my eye on OSS as well. I have spent quite a bit of time in AWS and Azure clouds with most of my time lately being dedicated to AWS. I have written many books. More than half of which are technical.
