enthusiastic and dedicated team player. I've had great pleasure of working with her on various
projects during her time as a staff member and volunteer with Latinitas. Since she joined our
organization, she immediately impressed us with her passion for making a difference, her hard
work ethic and her caring personality. I strongly recommend her for a scholarship to help
further her education.
As an intern and staff member, Ariadne has played an instrumental role in advancing the
mission of Latinitas, a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering Hispanic girls through
media, art, culture and technology. Our team hosts a variety of media enrichment programs
aimed at encouraging girls to build confidence and discover their voice through creative
multimedia expression. During her time with Latinitas, she served as our Program Assistant in
coordinating our outreach initiatives. She aided our team by leading after-school programs
and enrichment workshops. She also helped in developing lesson plans for our enrichment
after-school program. She has also assisted by serving as a mentor for youth involved in our
organization. She coordinated a series of weekly after-school programs where she led a team
of girls through self-expression activities.
We publish an online magazine for Latina youth and media enrichment workshops where girls
express themselves and build their confidence. I've had the great pleasure of working with
Ariadne on various projects during her internship. During her time with Latinitas, she assisted
our editorial department by researching potential story ideas, interviewing youth to document
their perspectives, writing feature stories and editing youth submissions. She brought
wonderful insight into her writing. She effectively wrote content that was relevant and
engaging for our young audience.
Her caring personality made her an excellent role model for our members. She demonstrated
strong communication and teamwork skills. She is a pleasure to work with and quickly
developed a supportive mentoring rapport with our members. She exhibited a tremendous
versatility in fulfilling several roles with our group and took on each project with a great deal of
enthusiasm. She demonstrated a passion for mentoring a younger generation.
