5. I am a 15-year-old girl, being ignored by my best
friend because she has found a boyfriend. Despite being
treated awfully by her, the fact is that I am really worried
about her. The boy that she's seeing is frankly a fake.I have
found out a little about him and his trck record is awful. I
know how infatuated she is, despite the fact it's totally
unreciprocated. I really want to break them up before it's
too late. I don't really know how to do it without hurting
lots of people.and without my friend hating me, so I was
hoping for a little advice. Meddling scum I may be, but she
´s the best freind I have ever had.

I've been best friends with this guy for about 2 years
now but over the last month, my feelings for him have
become different. I can't stop thinking about him. I want
to tell him but I'm scared that he does not feel the same
way. I don't want to tell him and run the risk of ruining
our friendship. What should I do?

My best friend has been feeling depressed after
breaking up with her boyfriend. I've spent a lot of tiem
with her holding her hand. But just when I wanted to step
back a bit, she's become more needy than ever and I really
cannot breathe. I want to help her, but she wants me to
stay at home with her on Saturday evenings and gets
really mad at me when I go out with my other friends.

This is a difficult situation! I understand that you
don't want to risk your friendship here, and so this is
why you need to tread carefully. Only you know how
strong your friendship is, and it is not uncommon for
feelings to develop when you spend a lot of time
with someone. You say these feelings have only
developed over the last month, it's still very early to
say you are sure of how you feel, especially when
you've been friends for 2 years!! Perhaps you could
wait a few more months and see if these feelings
continue, or if you think your friendship is strong
enough, sit him down and let him know that you
started to feel something else and see what he says.

She could turn out to be the only friend you will ever
have unless you develop some limits. What exactly
are you afraid will happen to your pal? We all run
the risk of having our hearts broken at some time or
another but this does not give you an excuse for such
obsessive behaviour. I have to advise you to let go. If
you stop being so demanding and continue to act like
a mother, you'll definitely end up with a vacancy for
