2. Flashback
■ In prison break we encounter various flashback, the
main editing features when it comes to flashback
in this show is the screen is flashed with a white
background and the scene automatically changes.
The flashback scene turns into a sepia effect, which
is a type of orange. From this effect we can easily
identify that is a scene from the past as its called a
“flashback”.The first clip is when the flashback is
coming than the 2nd is when we are currently
watching the flashback.

3. Space
■ In this scene of prison break we can see the whole
room as this is an establishing shot.We can see
the whole of Lincoln's cell, by doing this we
understand how much space he is inhabited into
living in. the first couple seconds he standing than
he goes into a sitting position from this we
understand that he is in frustration and
depression also this could infer that he is in such a
tight space he is starting to feels claustrophobic.

4. Rhythm
■ In scenes where Lincoln and veronica are
seen there are usually background music
which make it more effective, the scenes
don’t last long by the characters always say a
couple effective sentences while it gets you
thinking.The scenes usually change after 4/5
seconds so its more effective than being left
there. Most of the couple scenes and happy
scenes there is always a nice background
music.
