2. We begin to realise that we as humans have lost our humanity somewhere.
Sharing shouldn’t be that big a deal.
As children we were taught to share, whether it was a toy, our tiffins at school or a simple helping hand.
Why have we let go of that practice?
3. Today we don’t even share a smile.
We are so engrossed in our smart phones that we forget to look up.
A moment of beauty today is captured through a 5 by 2 inch
screen instead of basking in the moment.
4. There is a glimmer of hope…
That line for the Ganpati Darshan is too long but a friend saved a space for you,
someone is ready to share his or her blessings.
While running on the platform to catch that last train to Virar,
a hand juts out to pull you in,
some one is ready to share theyr space.
While being stranded on the road on a rainy afternoon,
a slight shift by the stranger to your right gives you a respite;
someone is ready to share his or her comfort.
You forget to get your lunch and someone at the cafeteria beckons you over,
just with the hint of an eye gesture,
someone is ready to share a basic necessity.
Share all you CAN
5. To Share is to give from your own.
# s h a r e A m e a l
# K h a n a K h i l a n a
A movement, a culture and this is just a spark with a vast reach
Just giving is giving away the excess.
6. Let’s GET TOGETHER & RALLY MumbAi
ACCEPTANCE IS THE IDEA
For years sharing of food has been a dividing factor.
However, once you’ve shared a meal,
it automatically embodies a spirit of kinship.
With Mumbai being the land of diversity,
it only seems fitting that the revolution of acceptance begins here.
