experience, Anthony W. Duva serves as the
director of planned giving development for the
nonprofit organization Habitat for Humanity
International. In 2014, Team Generous chose the
organization’s Canadian branch as the subject of
their annual charity animation video.
A creative collective based in Denmark, Team
Generous supports nonprofit organizations
worldwide by creating short animated films to
help raise awareness for a chosen initiative.
3. For its 2014 contribution, Team Generous
worked alongside professional animators and
filmmakers in Campbell River, British Columbia,
to produce a video for Habitat for Humanity
Canada. The film’s creation followed a kick-off
for a Habitat site on Vancouver Island.
Animated shorts by Team Generous utilize a vivid
integration of color, sound, and lighting to
establish tone and intended emotional impact.
Backgrounds and characters tend to have a
watercolor-like design to them with a focus on
visuals over words and voice-overs.
4. At one minute and 54 seconds long, the
Habitat for Humanity video emphasizes the
organization’s call to the community to bring
aid to those lacking the resources to keep
their families strong and healthy.
