March of the Flamingoes: A Sims 3 OWBC, Chapter 7
1.
2. Continuing with my back log of pictures before I play again I can’t think of a title for
this one. Anyway, short intro this time let’s go.
3. Ever since I got the Woohooer mod, they don’t know what a bed anymore is. They go anywhere
BUT a bed for their fun now. As you can see, after some effort of queue dropping for TFB, it finally
worked. I hate glitching, game doesn’t know there’s an Overstuffed house mod installed, can’t add
anyone without NRAAS and it queue drops things, making me worry for the future of the Buckner
name.
5. The first born of Generation 3 missed being a Love Day baby by two days, meaning two
days early. I was hoping for a Love Day baby. Anyway, let’s who we get. Baby L here
you come…
6. Faith: I can magically change the colour of my clothes now, that’s new.
And here he is, Baby L, Lucian Buckner. He’s a Grumpy, Absent Minded baby
who likes Veggie Spaghetti, Country music, and the colour Lime, like grandpa
Chance. And he’s a vampire. *bleh*
7. Orlando is finally getting back to work now that he actually has no more weddings in
the way. And I have a Cancel Time Off mod too because it annoyed me that they had to
miss days of work so much. He’s doing his Family Scrapbook contribution with his
novel. He’s only level 4 of the Music career, he won’t get to choose his branch until
level 6.
8. Faith is finally now discovering there’s a basement and through this old wooden door,
she feels a draw to something powerful…
9. At the end of a long, dark, winding hallway she finds an oddly placed bookshelf that
seemingly dead ends at the hallway. Something powerful guides her hand to a book, an
ordinary, non-descript looking book that anyone else would have just moved past…
10. A train set near the back of the strange room seemingly comes to life as she approaches. Her gaze
is then drawn towards some tables lining the wall of this room, wands radiate with varying levels
of power, and giving off a faint glow of colours. Her own wand mysteriously disappeared into a
void that looks like a simolean sign and she has been feeling the burning itch of her magic
intensifying inside her. It was crying out to be used and expressed…
11. On another wall, one particular wand was calling out to her. Its aged leather wrapped handle, the
white of the wand’s body, and the gold trimmed edges of the leather grip was begging her to take
it. An Ivory wand; one of the more powerful wands out there, it was a huge upgrade over the
hand me down classic wand she was given when she became of age by her parents. Her powers
must have grown beyond the capabilities of the classic wand by now and it felt right for her take
possession of the Ivory wand.
12. What no more story weaving you say? Yeah, I used the same picture again because
dumb me didn’t take any more pictures of Faith finding the Secret Place. This is how
my on-the-fly writing works. I never know what I’m going to do until I sit here and do
it. Sorry about that. Anyway, it’s time for Lucian to age up and we can see who he
will take after more, Orlando or Faith.
13. Chance: Baby Bruh, time to teach you how to talk like your old grandpa the
fellow Lime colour lover.
Lucian: *stares with icy blue eyes* 0_0 He has no idea who this is anymore,
Absent Mindedness is annoying.
15. Somehow being on a motorcycle in the middle of the day, means vampire Orlando doesn’t
have his “Twilight sparkles” because apparently the motorcycle has a roof? o_0?
Anyway, Orlando is doing his next duty of getting a level 3 travel visa in France. I need
the treasure chests.
16. Ah, la belle France, c’est tres magnifique, n’est pa mes amies?
Okay, badly written Canadian French over. Go get that level 2 visa Orlando, since I
manage to always get that far on a first run. Yay for travel LTH perks and an extra
three days off the bat.
17. Old Celtic burial mound as per usual. This gets to me at least level 1, then doing a few “fetch me
this” or “set me up with so and so” Townie quests gets me to level 2. Then I always cheat my
way through Tuatha’s Garden because to try and do it WITHOUT NRAAS, is nigh
impossible… they get stuck in random places, can’t go down stairs, or move the statues in the
right places to hit all five gear tiles to unlock doors…I have never done Tuatha’s Garden without
cheating.
18. France world is also VERY dark without brightening the picture in PowerPoint so you can actually
SEE something. Otherwise it would just be Orlando’s creepy glowing vampire eyes, future holo phone
light, and Quest Board sparkles. I’ll show you the brightened picture, on the left, with the normal
brightness levelled one on the right. See what I mean? Or perhaps you don’t see much difference like I
do, but on my laptop the difference is very noticeable and I have dark mode enabled on my PowerPoint
program too. Anyway, he completed three tombs, Celtic Burial Mound, Tuatha’s Garden and the
Museum Curator ones; got their three tomb gargoyles, and a bunch of the level 3 visa only wine
grapes, the red ones and the blue ones, can’t remember how to spell their names right now. I’ve also
found rare firefly colours and super rare butterflies in Tuatha’s Garden. That’s why I raid it every
time I go to France world in a game file. I will have to do the others when I send Orlando back for that
level 3 visa, including the long multi-world spanning Landgraab Mansion quest. And believe it or
not in the 7 or 8 years I’ve played Sims 3, I have NEVER gotten the Nectary quest, I am so tempted to
cheat the doors away and just go in there to see it. I replace them with non-locked doors and raid them
that way.
19. When Orlando got back, he teaches Lucian to walk since he actually had a want to do
that. I can see this kid forgetting a lot of things and queue dropping everything I line up
for him later on. Nothing like having a Grumpy Mr. Magoo vampire child for
generation three huh?
20. Faith: So dad, do you have any good potion recipes to teach me?
Chance: Probably a few; but you can also learn them for yourself. You’d have a natural talent
for it being a witch and all bruh.
Faith: Okay, I hope this second baby is a witch like me. I’d love to have a witch child to teach all
my spells to.
