Caspian continues to work through his list of things to do before he's finally able to turn 21.

2. My birthday happens to fall on Love Day every year, which is ironic really. And when
that is over and the next summer begins it’s time to continue my challenge. Will
fourteen be any different than thirteen? Let’s go find out.

3. Of course with summer, comes the Summer Festival and the hot dog eating contests.
Naturally I entered of course, I hope to continue my winning streak from the Fall
Festival pie eating champ.

4. I’ll save you the trouble: I lost. To the kid. Yeah it was embarrassing to say the least,
guess his parents don’t feed him at home the poor kid looked like he hadn’t had decent
meal in his whole life.

5. On the fourth night of summer, this happened. You thought last year was an isolated
incident? AHAHA! No, this bitch tried to get my shit too, joke’s on you I got
ALARMS now! No one is stealing my stuff EVER again.

6. Was my new $1000 TV bait? Maybe…they only seem to come when I have stuff that
costs four digits in my house. But yeah, lesson learned; fool me once shame on me, fool
me twice you die. At least that’s how it SHOULD go…

7. Yeah get rekt bitch! You ain’t stealin’ nothin’ from ya boy tonight!

8. This time the buffoon was home and he finally believed me when I said we were robbed.
Can you believe he accused me of lying about the first robbery? He thinks I sold the
toilet for spite; yeah because leaving myself with no where to pee was exactly the logic I
followed for selling the toilet…idiot. Now he can’t say I was lying about it.

9. I stood out of the combat zone while the cop they sent and the bitch who tried to rob me
got into a punch-up. I wasn’t happy that they might damage my walls with their fight
but at least I wasn’t robbed this time.

10. Wut da fuq? The cop lost?! I almost want to root for the robber in this…I thought the
Appaloosa Plains PD would be at least as good as their fire department but I guess I
expect too much. Well there will be no donation to the Police Charity Ball this year.

11. Buffoon: Way to go, are all the cops as “good” as you?
Officer Audrey Puggle: I’ve been doing all the work outs and the courses…I just don’t
get why that Avery always gets away.
Dude, she can’t see your air quotes. Don’t antagonize the cop in front of me.

12. Buffoon: Maybe the problem is your flexibility, maybe I can help you improve.
*gags* *nearly vomits* I’m out of here, this is too nasty even for me.
Officer Audrey: Your son is right sir, that was highly uncalled for.
Buffoon: *guffahs* That little shit ain’t my son! Hell to the no.

13. I wish I had ear plugs, hearing the idiot flirt badly with the cop lady makes me sick. I
can’t WAIT to be rid of him! I’ll kick him out in the streets with not a penny to his
name, he’s getting none of my hard earned money. The house, I’m keeping. If I have to
go to the courts and have myself declared an emancipated teen at 16 I will…anything
to be rid of him quickly.

14. I was just getting into that sweet zone of sleep when I heard another noise outside. I
barely focused on my cell phone telling me it was 4:30 in the morning, the robbery only
happened three hours ago. I dragged my ass out of bed to see a dark shape outside in my
garden, my garden that I have to rebuild because most of my plants died. I saw this.
Someone had unlocked the gate.

15. A wild horse had gotten into my garden, don’t know if it was male or female, I wasn’t about
to check. The horse ran from me but forgot where the gate was so I followed. I tried not to
scare it, but it was wild after all so…maybe I did anyway. I wanted a horse and maybe this
one was sent to me by the Black Unicorn. It did say I had to prove myself a friend to all
animals, maybe cats weren’t the only ones I needed to fulfill the unicorn’s conditions.

16. I showed the wild horse the way out and it left. Maybe it will come back one day, who
knows. In the mean time I went out to socialize with the neighbours at the Norvegian
Cat Park in town. I did want to see if they held those adoption drives or something here.
Guess they don’t do that, but at least I got to meet people. Friends are important after
all.

17. You know what dancing people means, the buffoon is gone so it’s party time. This was
just a normal teen party but I got a party crasher. Hetty Lionheart, the local Crazy Cat
Lady came with Chase, he’s the guy there. He’s not a teen but one of the young adults
in this town. I figured I have to start broadening my friend circles to reach that magic
number 13, there are five teens in this town and I’m one of them.

18. Now why an elder would even be interested in a teen party, that is the real question. I
know Hetty lives on the farthest road along the river and not many people like her too
much. I mean how did she even know I was having a party? Did word get around that
this is my eighth one? I suppose it’s possible…

19. Cruz: Dude, why is Hetty the Hagster here? Why did you invite her?
I didn’t; she a party crasher. I think she’s stalking Chase.
Cruz: You do know that the full moon makes the crazies crazier right?

20. I know full well what the full moon does things to people, especially witches.
Cruz: The old lady stink is wafting over here…
I’ve been watching her, she’s been behaving so far.

21. OH COME ON!! THIS IS GETTING OLD NOW! Yeah, the VERY next night after
my eighth party this happens again. Guess Avery didn’t learn from last time. She’s
back…and the buffoon is gone again. And I know, my holiday lights are still up in the
summer what of it? They’re pretty.

22. Yeah guess who comes this time? Yep, Officer Puggle. I didn’t have a good feeling that
this would be any different than the last time these two had a punch-up. I waited
because I could be wrong this time…

23. History repeats itself. The cop lost again, and once more Avery runs off. At least she
didn’t get my TV. Why do I not learn to trust my gut when it comes to these things?
I’m almost never wrong.

24. Anyway, I learned that Maisy had been trying to think of a way to break my heart for a
while now, so I went there first. She’s the only one I ever cast a spell on so maybe she
was trying to be vindictive? I don’t know but she also had a puppy. And you know me
and dogs don’t get along, plus Maisy has self-proclaimed Commitment Issues…so it
was doomed to failure anyway.

25. I don’t know if she ever told anyone about me, I hate to disappoint Quince-man though but he’s an adult
so he knows things don’t always work out when you’re a teenager so maybe he won’t care?
Maisy: I was going to break up with you first anyway. Don’t let my PUPPY bite you in the
ankles on the way out.
Lucked out there, she doesn’t remember me using a spell on her…

26. I got home after breaking it off with Maisy and didn’t manage to get far before I see
these lights in the sky and I wondered what they were and why *Zolada would not just
come herself; oh wait didn’t I mention Zolada? Well…

27. Zolada came to me one night when the buffoon was away, I did say I was trying to
broaden my friend circles didn’t I? Well they were so broadened they reached outer
space! I thought it had something to do with the Logic skill I had been learning as one
of my thirteen but I haven’t bought a telescope or anything yet so I wonder how she
found me without it.

28. I was hypnotized by the shiny lights so I couldn’t help myself. I did want to know if
Zolada was up there in stealth mode waiting to surprise me.

29. It was not Zolada! This was someone else! Man…do they share their marks on Sixam
or something?

30. That was…unpleasant. Even the wild horses thought so. I didn’t catch my alien
abductor’s name but I would have to remember this for a while, school was in a few
hours and I hadn’t slept yet.

31. After my traumatic trip it was Leisure Day and for the first time I rented the city pool
for a Pool Party. This makes my ninth party of thirteen and I’ve already got the last
four lined up and ready to go when it comes time. I invited Benni because she seemed
pretty down with the way she and Cruz have been fighting. I figured a party was the
best way to cheer her up, she is my best friend after all.

32. That’s my neighbour, Gracie Loveland she lives in the house across the street from me
with her twin girls. I don’t know much about her except that I happened to raid her
garden one night and instead of having me arrested for trespassing, she invited me
inside. She has a pretty white cat too, and cat people are always aces with me.

33. Even if it was just a tiny party, the three of us still had a nice day out at the pool
together. I got to know both of them better.

34. They took turns challenging me to breath holding contests. I didn’t want to beat them
too badly so I was a gentleman and let the ladies win. Don’t tell them that, though.

35. Benni: Thanks for inviting me Casp, this means a lot to me. I have to tell you something
though, I’m not…I’m not what Lark says I am. I know she likes to call me Benni the Bike
but I’ve only ever been with Cruz. And never Jacoby, I know he’s gay because all he talks
about is you.
Yeah Jacoby’s a chill dude. And don’t worry, I never believed Lark when she called you
Benni the Bike, I know what cattiness is when I see it.

36. Benni: What about you? I know you’ve had girlfriends but does it bother you that Jacoby
likes you?
I’m bi I guess, I mean it doesn’t bother me that he likes me. We’ve been friends for a while
now and stuff happens you know?
Benni: Yeah…friends. Good things come from being friends first.

37. I’m not blind or oblivious, I know there was more underneath Benni’s comment than
she meant to say. I know she has a thing for me, I can see it in the letters she sends
and the way Cruz complains about her all the time. A small town is really no place for
secrets to be kept, everyone finds out sooner or later. Right now, she’s with Cruz and I
think I’m going to give things a chance with Jacoby. Who knows? He could be the one
I’ve been looking for.

38. As summer ends I’ve finally caved and bought a sculpting station. I did join the Art
Club at school and I learned that I was missing out on a whole lot by not using my
creative talents in the sculpting field too. I want to include this in my repertoire for
college applications, accomplished sculptor. Taking Fine Arts in college seems right up
my alley.

39. Of course new season means new dance and the Fall Formal is coming so I took the
shot at Jacoby. He of course was all for it, I asked him to come over so we could talk.

40. I asked him to go steady and if he would go to the Fall Formal with me and he of course
couldn’t contain the high pitched squeal of joy in his voice when he said yes. Cruz just
rolled his eyes; guess he figured I wouldn’t be all Benni yakked about now that I was off
the market.

41. Oh this was another one of my parties by the way, number ten. A house party that the
buffoon happened to be here for. I made Aloo Marsala curry because my pizza didn’t
show up. Guess it was pretty spicy because everyone had the same reaction to it.

42. Yeah that’s Vera, she crashed my Leisure Day party as well and was also the nosy
neighbour who called me and said she was going to call the cops…unless she got to
come too. Of course I should have said go ahead and call them, they are incompetent
anyway but instead I let her come. Also Cruz had a flame breath from my curry, which
was funny.

43. Hilarious. I should totally GIF this and post it online. My curry is so awesome it’s
mind blowing! LUL.

44. And wouldn’t you know it? The asshole is insulting my guests again. He seems
determined to make it so no one wants to come here. He was going off on Chase again,
saying he had a breath like a llama and then proceeded to cast a charm on him. I saw it;
a love charm so after he insults Chase he hooks him with a spell…he’s the definition of a
blight on society. So I did what I had to do…

45. Alright you selfish dick listen up: I won’t let you harass my guests and put spells on
them! We are not supposed to let anyone know we’re witches. You’re just fucking lucky
they won’t remember ever seeing any spells cast because of the protection on this house. I
challenge you to a duel. If I win you fuck off when I want to have parties.
Buffoon: And if I win?
You won’t. But if you DO happen to win I won’t poison you in your sleep.

46. I’ll admit he got in one good Ice Blast but I was still much better than he was.
Buffoon: You have a big mouth kid and I’ll enjoy shutting it for good.
A lucky shot. That’s all.

47. Good always wins over evil! My Light of Judgement spell make sure of that!
Buffoon: Oh good one twit, you might have actually tickled me with that…wait
a minute…

48. Buffoon: What the hell did you do you little shit?
Syphon, a little extra kick I put into my Light of Judgement spell. It temporarily
drains you of your ability to cast spells. Thanks to mom for teaching me that
trick.

49. That was a well deserved win. I love my Light of Judgement spell. Mom told me it was to only
be used in defense of others and never against them. Leon, that’s the buffoon’s real name of
course, had no idea my mom taught me that. He was using his spells for evil and ensorcelled my
friends in order to manipulate them, so it wasn’t used in offense. I have to protect my friends
and the innocent from those witches who misuse their powers like Leon did. In the meantime, I’ll
get back to writing my Humour books, they seem to do well.

50. Hey look, my friend came back. I wish I could give this horse a name, it likes me a lot.
I have to work on learning some Riding skill before I can adopt a horse, they’re free
you know. And since I have well over thirty grand saved for college from all my works
of art, I can afford to make something to house the horse in for the winter, which is
coming soon. After all, no one said your BFF had to be human right?

51. So after the meeting with my horse friend it was time for the Fall Formal. And Jacoby was so
excited to go with me, I had a wonderful time with him. You can imagine I was surprised that
after the Fall Formal Jacoby had a bombshell to drop on me. He said that going to a dance with me
was all he wanted and it helped him to decide that he had preferred men over women, but I wasn’t
the right one for him. He said we’d be better as friends and thanked me for indulging him.
Needless to say, I was blindsided by this but I wasn’t mad about it though.

52. Jacoby: Thanks for the dance, I hope you’re not mad. I do kind of feel bad about it.
It happens; we all have trouble figuring things out, but we eventually do.
Jacoby: You’re amazing Casp, I thought you’d be mad.

53. Naw bro; I don’t get mad unless you REALLY piss me off like the buffoon does.
Jacoby: Yeah, I heard he’s a pain in the ass to live with.
Soon enough I’ll be rid of him; once I finish my goal list he’s out on his fat ass. Don’t care
if it’s the middle of winter or not, he’s gone.

54. Cruz: You have the patience of a saint Casp, I’d hit him with my car if he did that to me.
I can’t drive or afford a car and no one can teach me, certainly not him.
Jacoby: Wait, you have a car? Since when?
Cruz: Since always; where you been dude?

55. Yep as you guessed, this is party number eleven. I wanted to throw a Feast Party for
Spooky Day but I don’t trust the buffoon to behave, last time I had a Feast Party, the fat
ass gained twenty pounds. It was gross. I didn’t want to show that because it just made
me queasy. Anyway, I am still planning on having a Gift Party for Snowflake Day, this
is just as nice though.

56. I couldn’t get rid of the buffoon for this slumber party though, he was already here when
I started it. My parties always have some sort of drama with them and this time it was
Jacoby trying to win Cruz over. Cruz of course was not having it. He rejected him.

57. Overall, despite the rejection this was my first epic party! Kind of stoked about that,
guess I really hit my stride after eleven parties huh? Cool, gives me hope for my last
two. I have only a few things left on my list to do and I hope to get it done soon, maybe
by mid next year I’ll be done.

58. And overnight, winter sets in. I’ve built a covered patio for my sculpting podium so the
weather won’t ruin my sculptures before I finish them. Also it looks cool. I’ve been
working with metal a lot, I think I may have a new favourite medium to make
sculptures with and like my paintings I’m only keeping brilliant and masterpiece
sculptures. I won’t ruin my perfect streak now.

59. I’m still skilling of course, I think this was Handiness. You need that around here with
the moron breaking stuff all the time…okay I use magic to upgrade them to unbreakable
but still, having a back-up plan for fixing stuff is good too right?

60. New season means new festival, this time the Winter Festival is in town. I totally
pwned the half-pipe though. I would love to have one of these at home but no space right
now. I can be just as cool here as I can at home where no one can see me.

61. Skating backwards like a boss; I think I like winter a bit more now. I’ll be a well
rounded bundle of awesomeness when it’s time to apply to university.

62. Time flies when you’re being awesome and that means the best time of the year is now here,
my twelfth party is the Gift Giving one I talked about. I invited Benni and Gracie of course
and this time I also managed to catch Zolada. She wanted to experience this Earth tradition
of Snowflake Day for her research back on Sixam. I’m all about learning and furthering the
course of knowledge as you might have guessed by now.

63. Benni: Oh no way! I can’t believe that fits in there!
What? What did you get?
Benni: A guitar. I’ve always wanted one, I’m a Virtuoso you know.
Yeah I know. You told me.

64. Zolada: So the human female prefers the acoustic pleasures of musical vibration?
Interesting.
Benni: I know you’re popular and all Casp…but why is she green?
Because, Zolada is an alien. She’s awesome.

65. And I get…mistletoe. Again. I guess it makes sense, I am a Great Kisser…just can’t believe it took
me a whole year to figure that out. I’m an idiot.
Benni: So do people like beg you not to probe them? Is that what you do?
Zolada: There are a few unsettled subjects, but that’s why we have sedatives.

66. Gracie got gift cards, she totally loved the simple gesture of gift cards. She had trouble
buying things for her cat and her twins so it warmed my heart to see my neighbour so
pleased and moved by such a small gift. I understand how hard it is to struggle to meet
ends meet. And this is the season for giving after all right?

67. So did you get enough material for your research?
Zolada: It was quite sufficient young male. I will make great progress on Sixam with
this new knowledge.
I’m glad you had a good time.

68. Did you get me the mistletoe?
Benni: *blushes* Uh, yeah I did. Was it a bad gift?
No, actually quite fits me.

69. Benni: Did you get me the guitar?
I got you one of them; don’t know who brought the other. I knew you liked music, I can
sense another creative soul when I meet one.
Benni: *tears up* Why are you so good to me?

70. Because you’re my friend. And you always seem so sad. I wanted to make you happy, on
today of all days.
Benni: *chokes up* I have to know, am I only imagining things between us?
You’re with Cruz; he’s my best friend…but I can’t help but feel something here.

71. Benni: I don’t want to be anymore! I’m ending it with him. I’m miserable all the
time and it’s because of him.
So don’t be. Make me a promise right now, under this mistletoe; you will do
what’s right for you.

72. Benni: And seal it with a kiss? *looks hopeful*
Yeah, and seal it with a kiss.
Benni: Caspian…I can’t tell you how long I’ve wanted this.

73. And with that, I found out why everyone else never felt quite right. I guess I am more like my dad
than I thought. Benni and I made a promise that day under the mistletoe; we would do what was
right for us. And that meant being together. I know Cruz may take issue with it, teens can be so
up and down about things like this, but I also have intuition and it tells me Cruz will get over it.
Somewhere inside he knew it didn’t feel right with Benni either, their constant fighting said more
than they thought it did.

74. Winter melted into spring and I managed to max my tenth skill, this time it was
Charisma. Can’t believe it took me this long to get it done. Guess some things you have
to read about as well as experience. Now I can focus on my sculpting, athleticism and
riding. My last three skills I want are also ones that take a while to do.

75. I think I need to rebuild my garden too, the winter just killed it and my horse friend
eating my plants kind of did too. Maybe I’ll take some of that money and build a
greenhouse here. I have more than enough coming in to rebuild my college funds so I
can indulge a little right? Anyway, I want to finish my sculpting skills so I endured
the early spring chill and got out there to do it.

76. Spring Festival time and time to finally ask Benni to be mine. Honestly, I know in
every fibre of my being that I’ve found my soul mate. Ironically on my fourth try just
like dad did with mom. I hope they’re happy from wherever they are to see me now.

77. And that led to a Spring Festival date. Benni was happy for the first time I remember
her being so in the whole time I’ve known her. I also saw Cruz and Maisy getting it on
too, guess they decided to get over me and Benni by being with each other. Boy will
Cruz be surprised when Maisy’s Commitment Issues rear their ugly head at him. I’d
warn him but…nah. He’s a big boy he can handle it.

78. I didn’t even care that I was going to miss out on Dance King for a second year in a
row, I learned you have to be there every day the Spring Festival is on for it to count
right up until Love Day. I have too many things left to do and I can’t be here all five
days of the festival. Besides, I have Benni now.

79. I asked her to the Spring Formal and she replied with a cheeky: “Only if Zolada doesn’t
abduct me for research first.” I’m glad that we can share that inside joke together, none
of my other exes or friends ever met Zolada. I know Lark and Maisy would freak out,
Cruz would just be stunned and Jacoby would run right out my door if he saw an alien.
At least Benni talked to her first.

80. And as you know, with the setting sun comes the end of this entry. A lot happened to me this year
and I’m honestly shocked by how much can go on. I will DEFINITELY make this one of my three
remaining books. It just has so much good content that I can barely wait to begin it.
