o Sarang Panchal completed his Bachelors of Commerce degree in
the year 1982 from Sydenham College, Mumbai. For the Post
Graduation he went on to pursue the Master’s degree in
Management studies from the prestigious Jamnalal Bajaji Institute
of Management Studies, Mumbai.
o Panchal has over two decades of research, marketing and
consulting experience. His career kick started at Procter & Gamble
India Ltd as a Research Executive and later climbed the ladder as a
Research Manager with MRAS. Subsequently, he assumed
partnership at MRAS Burke between 1986-1989 .He then worked in
companies such as Dun & Bradstreet, VNU and The Nielsen
Company. Before he branched off as an independent consultant
and also joined the board of various companies, his last role was as
Sarang Panchal Managing Director, Asia Pacific for the Customized research
Chief Mentor, Market division of The Nielsen Company. Here he handled custom research
Research business in 17 countries across Asia Pacific.
2. Our team
o Having pioneered volume forecasting in India while at
Nielsen, Panchal's forte is New Product Research as well as
rounded experience across business verticals. Across his career he
has worked on virtually all types of research ranging from Custom
research, Audits, TV monitoring, Consumer Panels, Readership
Studies to Online panels.
o He has presented papers at the forums such as the Market
Research Society of India as well as National level Industry Bodies
like FICCI and CII. He also made significant contributions to the
Brand Protection committee pioneered by FICCI. He has taught
Market research at leading colleges and management institutes in
the country. He is currently based in Mumbai.
