Pablo Picasso was one of the most influential artists of the 20th century who was born in Málaga, Spain in 1881 and died in 1973 in France. He co-founded Cubism with Georges Braque and produced a wide variety of works throughout his life, most notably depicting acrobats, harlequins and other figures during his Blue Period. At the end of his life, Picasso was interred at Castle Vauvenargues' park in France after dying there, with his wife Jacqueline preventing his children from attending the funeral.
