You do an on-line process on their website where you answer questions
about your history, in terms of study, prac experience ..that kind of thing.
Interesting...um that’s a good questions probably I will probably speak to
other teachers and get their input as to whether I’m using the right lingo,
and if it comes across to them as how a teacher would speak. And if its
hitting the right marks.
I will probably use the internet and google but I thinks speaking with
people is probably the best way to go.
I think just knowing the process, even just going on the website of the
institute, it’s not a very intuitive or easy, clear process. With just forms
that you need to submit, that kind of thing and I’ve had to call them a
couple of times to clarify.
When you can get the right person, they are helpful but sometimes it’s
yeah. Just working here and trying to get home in time to then be in a
place where I can call them with the information I’ve got within business
hours and that kind of thing. It can be a few phone calls back and forth to
try and get to someone who can give you the answers you are after.
No I don’t think they do but the discussion board on websites is helpful,
speaking to other students in the same position saying has anyone have
any advice on how to approach schools, or what has worked with them in
terms of getting jobs but I think the discussion board with other student
studying the same way.
I think there is a need for it from the university to help with preparing you
for the next step in how to go about the process. I don’t feel like that has
been very well supported for students.
Honestly again, I don’t actually really know. I would assume there
would be some kind of interview process that they would want to
get a feel for a casual teacher.

I think there is a real lack of
support for graduate teachers.
The university does not provide
them with information regarding
the accreditation and job
application process. I think there
is a need to create something
that will assist and support
teachers while in their final
months of university to prepare
them for the accreditation and
interview process.
I feel that we are letting our students
down and also letting society down.
We need to make the process easier
for the students so they can begin
their careers as teachers, helping our
children learn.
