ideas are taken and there is nothing
left to explore. This is a negative way

situations, you have to learn to see
with the eyes of your mind.
In this article, we are going to look
at four tips on how to spot money-
making opportunities.
1. A need that no one seems to be
meeting
Supposing you suddenly
developed a craving for cake. Then
you said to yourself that you must
have cake and you look for the
nearest cake shop but there is none
in sight.
You would probably say to yourself
that if someone put a cake shop
anywhere in that area, you would be
their number one customer.
However, you have to do market
research to find out whether the idea
you have come across can be
monetized profitably. You may be the
only one in that location with a taste
for cake.
2. Replicate something that you
have seen elsewhere
The world is fast becoming a global
village and as a result, people's tastes
and expectations especially in the
area of consumer goods and services
are getting more sophisticated.
If you are a regular traveler, you
need to become very observant.
Take a notebook with you wherever
you go and write down ideas that you
do not see in your home area but are
working great elsewhere.
3. Search your own backyard
When I say your backyard, I am
referring to those ideas that you have
always wanted to test, but you
probably thought were not good
enough.
The moment you spot a potential
money-making opportunity, take
action right away and stop thinking
that your ideas are dumb.
4. Be very observant and keep an
open mind
Spotting money-making
opportunities requires you to be
extremely observant.
Fortunately, you can very easily re-
train your mind to look at objects
from a totally unique perspective
because that is exactly how you
learnt what different objects were
when you were a child.
Take a paper clip for example. How
many uses can you come up with for
a paper clip in ten seconds? Most
children will come up with more than
5 uses that you may not have thought
about.
That is because until children are told
that some things are impossible, they
naturally think outside the box, which
is something that we all were divinely
designed to do.
Keep a close eye out for any
money-making opportunities using
these tips and be sure to maintain an
open mind.
