• Low fuel consumption: 41 city/ 44 highway
• Affordable: Around $20,000-$23,000
• Top-selling hybrid in Japan
• Backed by Honda reputation for quality
• Due to different technology than other
hybrids, feels more like a gas-only car rather
than a hybrid

3. Weaknesses
• Overall appearance might not appeal to a lot
of people
• More cramped interior and less cargo space
than Toyota Prius, which is the closest
competitor
• Underpowered engine- 98 horsepower
• Interior quality is not as refined as other cars
in same price range
• AC turns off when car is at a stand still

4. Opportunities
• With rising gas prices, many consumers are
shifting towards more fuel efficient vehicles-
marketing could focus on fuel efficiency.
• “Green movement”- more than ever, people are
trying to lessen their carbon footprint and be
more environmentally friendly. This will lead to
increased sales of “green” vehicles like the
Insight.
