3. Meaning of National Income
1.National income of a country can be defined as the total market value of
all final good and services produced in the economy a year.
2. National income is the sum of total of factor incomes earned by normal
residents of a country during the period of an accounting year.
3. The total income of the nation is called “national income”.

5. Gross Domestic Product at Market Price [GDPMP]

GDP = C + I + G + (X – M).

Per – Capita Income:
The average income of the people of a country in particular year is called Per Capita
Income for that year.

Real Income
National income is the final value of goods and services produced and expressed in
terms of money at current prices. But it does not indicate the real state of the economy.
when national income is expressed in terms of constant prices it is called real income.
