The camera work for this advert is very well framed and includes a lot of close up shots.
The reason it includes so many close up shots is because the sports wear is being
advertised therefore by zooming in to the detail allows the audience to see the benefits and
support of the clothing . The speed of the shots are at a frequently quick pace this is to
keep the audience’s attention to the sportswear and to build up the strength of the work out
therefore showing to the audience the motivation they can have in the right fitted
sportswear. Furthermore the extreme close up shots are used specifically to show the
brand name on the sports wear ‘Adidas’ this isn't shown a lot as its already a well
established brand. However is shown a few times to indicate to the audience the brand if
they aren't paying attention to begin with. In addition the close up shots are also focusing
on the facial expressions of the two women. They are expressing very fierce expression’s to
show to the audience the intensity of their work outs. This could persuade the audience to
get active.
The sound in this advert immediately starts upbeat and increases in volume as it gets
louder to enhance the intensity of the exercises. The sound creates a friendly gym
environment and is played at a fast speed to match the quick transitions of the close up
shots.
In this advert the lighting is very bright this is to show a positive atmosphere that fitness
brings. The natural lighting also enhances the bright and bold colors of the women's
sportswear and trainers which makes them more appealing to the audience to buy.
Furthermore the location of this advert is in a gym this is a typical location where people go
to exercise individually or with friends. By using the gym as the location could also
persuade its audience to join the gym as by the advert it is shown to be a very affective way
to keep a fit and toned body. In addition both women have there hair tied up this is because
exercise isn't about having stylish hair. Its focusing more on keeping healthy to boost your
confidence as a person. Also the makeup of the two women are very natural based this is
because exercise produces sweat therefore there is no point in applying thick makeup. Also
exercise isn't about looking glamorous its about working hard to show progress.

The narrative of this advert is that the women are showing a work out
session by entering the gym socializing. This is shown by the two women’s
actions laughing as they walk through the doors. This then leads to the
intense build up of their work out and then them being out of breath. This
shows the work out was a success. This narrative shows how affective the
women’s sportswear is as the support and tight fitting of it allows easy
movement. Furthermore the editing of this advert is straight cuts to keep the
audience’s attention to this advert. As well as at the end of the advert is a
fade to black. This has been edited as this is when the Adidas logo appears.
The Adidas logo is a bold font and is the color white to stand out from the
black background. The logo has been positioned in the center of the screen
with no images or footage around it. This allows all attention to be on the
logo. Below the logo is a website link for the adverts campaign this allows
the audience to have interaction with this advert.

shot with no excess space in them. The speed of the shots are very fast and this
is to create a buzz for the Adidas sportswear. There has been a huge variety of
shots used in this advert which makes the audience not get tedious as there is so
much to be appealed to. The close up shots are used to show the brand of Adidas
on the women’s clothing and this is seen to be a main convention as it establishes
the brand and allows the detail of the sportswear to be shown with better quality.
Furthermore the idea of using a range of different sports in this advert makes the
advert more interesting to consume as this then expands the target audience to
any sportswomen.
The sound in this advert is very fast, modern and creates a street vibe. This then
links with the location as most of the shots were filmed in abandoned alley ways,
roof tops and streets. The sound and locations give this Adias sportswear advert
a very edgy look to it and this is what makes it stand out.
The narrative of this advert is implying the message of how versatile and unique
the Adidas sports wear is as it can be used for any sport as shown on this advert
are dance, tennis, running, football and volley ball. This advert also shows the skill
of team work in an explosive way to attract groups of women to exercise and
keep fit in Adidas sportswear.
This advert is very well edited and through out the whole advert is straight cuts to
keep the audience attached to the advert and the action. Also the editing
technique slow motion has been used for example when the young woman is
jumping up to hit the volley ball. The affect slow motion has is that is emphasis the
explosive action as well as allowing the sportswear to stand out and shows it style
and support.

Furthermore the lighting in this advert changes from light to dark depending on the
sport and if its day or night. This advert shows that the adidas sportswear can be worn
all day whether it’s the night time or day time. The flashing affect of the lights in the
night club create a fun and positive atmosphere to the advert. Also the bold and bright
colors of the adidas women’s sportswear stand out and show a new and stylish range
that is suitable for any sport.
Lastly the font at the end of this advert is very bold and white and has been edited as
a transition to show the words flicking at speed. The words say celebrity names
before ending with the Adidas sign. By including celebrities in this advert will allow the
audience to want to buy the sports clothing more as their role models or inspiration
are wearing them. This was a very clever thing to do as the producer now will get
more popularity for this advert.

This advert has very fast transitions between each camera shot this is because it
is showing the lifestyle of the man who is wearing Asics sportswear. The idea of
having a fast pace life is showing the audience the message that the Asics sports
wear can handle any limits of fitness. The close up shots used in this advert show
the Asics logo this is to show to the audience what brand is being advertised. It
also gets a closer look at the material and vibrant colors that the Asics sportswear
contain. Also there are a lot of medium long shots in this advert showing the
distance and journey the man has been taking in his Asics sportswear.
The speech of the man saying ‘Gotta run’ has been repeated in this advert to
show that this is the brands slogan. It also links with the fast paced camera shots
and narrative as the man is forever on the move. Furthermore the narrative of this
advert is showing the routine of a sportsman by waking up in the morning, his
active day and then his exhaustion at the end of the day. This narrative will be
easy for it’s target audience to relate to because it’s a daily routine that is aimed
at the public not professional athletes. Also the sound of this advert is very upbeat
which engages the audience straight away.
The lighting in this advert begins very dark and then brightens as the day goes
along. The reason the lighting is like this is because it shows the cycle or routine
of his day which is shown in the narrative. Also the sports wear that he is wearing
is always shown up close this is to show the vibrant colors and the airy material.
The close up shots focus a lot on the trainers and the producer as used a striking
idea when he lands on the floor the trainers are emphasized. This is very affective
because its very eye catching and immediately grabs y attention from the
boldness of it.
