I am working on computational genomics of cancer. Particularly, I am developing methods for DNA methylation analysis, RNA-seq analysis and integration of high-throughput genomics datasets. My other general interests are as follows:
- Gene regulation and gene regulatory networks in disease
- DNA sequencing analysis and its applications to genome biology
- Highly conserved elements and their regulatory function
- Transcription factor binding site prediction and related algorithms
- Application of machine learning methods to biological problems
