2. Course Description Highlights
S Prepares students to be active citizens.
S Focuses on citizenship, government, and law.
S The course meets one half of the graduation
requirements for first year Social Studies. Economic

Students will demonstrate an understanding of

6. Grading
S Point system.
S Grading will be done on a point system. All assignments
in and out of class will count toward your grade.
S You will be graded on class assignments, homework,
projects, quizzes, tests, and writing.
