1. OPTICAL COMPARATOR
An optical comparator or profile projector is a device for measuring small parts with a
translucent screen. By projecting the part is produced in the same amplification, this allows
better measurement and review.

optics. What you do is project the enlarged shadow of a
piece on the translucent screen, then action is taken
based on the beginning and end of the shadow.
One advantage of this device is that you can make the
measurement directly on the translucent screen or
