9. App bussiness model
● The App Bubble: it's very hard to monetize
mobile apps
● And extremely hard if targeting only one
country
● We discarded a paid app:
– In Spain people are not used to pay for apps
– Not fair to pay for open data

10. We monetize with ads
● We work with two advertising companies:
mAdvertise and AdMob (Google)
● For every 1000 ads shown we receive (CPM):
0.3€ to 1€
● 2012 stats for Gas Stations Spain in Android:
– 10M+ Ads shown
– Revenue generated: 7300€
