FIRST, Explain the meaning of the following

What is a hyperbole?
• Hyperbole- is a figure of speech. An exaggeration
  or overstatement used for emphasis.
      ex. I nearly died laughing.
           My dad had a cow when he saw my
           grades.
           I said that a million times!
