Project Title : AMS- Smartbill

Project Summary:
Société Internationale de Télécommunications Aéronautiques was founded in February
1949 by 11 airlines. The company today provides a range of IT solutions as well as
infrastructure and communication services for the air transport industry, having evolved
from its early days of providing only network services. We configure wide range of
products in billing system which helps SITA deliver efficient service and flexible plans for
each customer.
 Technical refresh:
SITA technical refresh project aimed to upgrade the operating system
from Sun-solaris to
Linux and upgrading Talend 4.1.1 to 5.1.1 with java 1.5 to 1.7. This
project involved
Massive challenge to migrate massive amount of shell scripts which call
Talend Jobs and
Upgrade of talend jobs.
 Smartbill – Novabill Migration
Smartbill employed the Robust billing system Kenan BP from comverse. A
new generation Versatile billing system used over many domains telecom,
Airlines, Large retail billing. Technical upgrade project aimed to replace
C/ProC with Java API-TS with Tuxedo middleware. Massive challenge to re
build wide variety of global interfaces to interacts with Tuxedo and Kenan
Billing system. Provisioning interface are triggered with Talend, integrating
talend with Kenan Billing APITS
Responsibilities:
 Developed talend jobs for the business scenarios provided using ETL technical
design document
 Worked on different types of stages like File inputs and output delimited files,
Transformation stages, file lists, global variables, context variables, Db stages
and automatic filter files mail triggering mechanisms.
 Preparing UAT and production Elevation Documents
 Prepared Unit test case plan for developed jobs.
 Coordinated with the QA team in various testing phases by resolving the defects
and ensuring smooth execution of the test plans.
 Facilitated the Production move ups of ETL components to QA/Production
environment.
 Worked in analyzing the issue, tracing the problem area, suggesting a solution.
 Involved in daily status calls with onsite and offshore and issue resolution
meetings.
 Imparting technical knowledge to the new entrant and also fellow team members.
