1、What is blockchain technology?
Blockchain technology is an advanced database mechanism that allows information to be
shared transparently across an enterprise network. Blockchain databases store data in
blocks, while databases are linked together in a chain. The data is consistent in time because
you cannot delete or modify the chain without network consensus. Therefore, you can use
blockchain technology to create immutable ledgers for tracking orders, payments, accounts,

1、What is IPFS?
The InterPlanetary File System (IPFS) is a protocol, hypermedia and file sharing peer-to-
peer network for storing and sharing data in a distributed file system. IPFS uses content-
addressing to uniquely identify each file in a global namespace connecting IPFS hosts.IPFS
can among others replace the location based hypermedia server protocols http and https to
distribute the World Wide Web.
2、Why IPFS?
The Internet is built on the HTTP protocol. The HTTP protocol was a great invention that
allowed the Internet to grow rapidly. But as the Internet has evolved, HTTP has fallen short.
The centralization of HTTP is inefficient and costly.
Using HTTP requires downloading full files (web pages, videos, images, etc.) from a
centralized server every time, which is slow and inefficient. If you switch to P2P, you can
save up to 60% of bandwidth. P2P splits files into smaller chunks and downloads them
simultaneously from multiple servers, which is very fast.
Web files are often deleted
Recall how often you favorite a page, in the use of the browser returns 404 (page can not

deleted (due to high storage costs), and cannot be saved permanently. IPFS provides a
historical version of the file back (like git version control tools), you can easily view the

1、What is Tether ？
Launched in 2014, Tether is a blockchain-enabled platform designed to facilitate the use of
fiat currencies in a digital manner. Tether works to disrupt the conventional financial system

ability to transact with traditional currencies across the blockchain, without the inherent

Every Tether token is 100% backed by our reserves, which includes traditional currency and
cash equivalents, and may include other assets and receivables from loans made by Tether
to third parties.
The Tether platform is fully reserved when the sum of all Tether tokens in circulation is less
than or equal to the value of our reserves. Through our Transparency page, anyone can
view both of these numbers on a daily basis.
Tether was originally created to use the Bitcoin network as its transport protocol—
specifically, the Omni Layer—to allow transactions of tokenised traditional currency. Since
this original version of Tether uses the Bitcoin blockchain, it inherits the inherent stability

Tether on the Ethereum blockchain, as an ERC20 token, is a newer transport layer, which
now makes Tether tokens available in Ethereum smart contracts or decentralized
applications on Ethereum. As a standard ERC20 token it can also be sent to any Ethereum

Since Tether tokens are currently available using different transport protocols, when users
send Tether tokens to other addresses, they need to carefully check the destination address
