1. This is our town
Mariestad is beautifully situated by the
lake Vänern – the 3rd biggest lake in
Europe.
There are about 16.000 inhabitants in
the town itself
The old town and the harbour is very
popular with tourists in summer.

2. This is our school
The school is very old and it
clearly shows. It’s worn and
neglected
Mariaskolan has about 330
pupils aged 12-16.
Luckily we are going to move
into a brand new school next
year in August.
