Company A – It’s a fast casual restaurant employing around 50 full time employees and 30-40
part time employees.
Company B –It’s a Bank and employs 250 full time employees and more than 50 part time
employees
Company C – It’s an accounting firm and employs 6 full time and 4 part time employees. I
interviewed the office administrator.
Company D is a grocery store and employees 10 full time employees and 20-30 part time
employees.

Findings:

Company A
  All employees are responsible to maintain a high level of safety awareness at work,
  participate in the safety program and training, comply with legislation and all applicable

  procedures. The company provides appropriate training and education to the employees so that they
  understand and carry out their work according to the established policies, practices, and procedures.

Company B

        They had an adequate system of auditing and all means of hazard identificationare in

        The company is small and growing. I interviewed the office coordinator. When I asked
        her about the health and safety policy she showed me they had a chart which identified

the hazards and their safety procedures. Other than that she didn’t have any idea about
     due diligence. I felt in the last part she was trying to fake that they were planning a new
     policy for health and safety but I think she was feeling more and more uneasy with me
     asking her questions for which she had no answers.
      They had no proper policies and I don’t think in the future they are going to have any as
     the company is basically operating at a loss and is taking all measures to cut costs

Company D

     They take all reasonable precautions, under the particular circumstances, to prevent
     injuries or accidents in the workplace and they value the importance of a health and
     safety program. They are compliant and have all policies and procedures.
      Being a small company they continually review their health and safety program at least
     once a year and make improvements as needed.
