Isaac Newton was an English physicist, mathematician, astronomer, theologian, and author who was born on December 25, 1642 in Woolsthorpe, Lincolnshire. He worked in a variety of fields including physics, philosophy, theology, invention, alchemy and mathematics. Newton spent most of his life focused on his work and did not marry or have children. He died on March 31, 1727 in Kensington, London.
