2. Nude Photography
– is about capturing the beauty of the human form. Using light, shadows, posing
and creative expression, you can bring out the beauty of the human body, one
of the greatest creation of God. The emphasis of nude photography is aesthetics
and creativity; and any erotic interest, although often present, is secondary.
Thus nude photography does not generally use ornaments or costume. The face
or the facial expressions of the model are not generally emphasized too.
3. Erotic photography
– is a style of photography of an erotic and even a sexually suggestive or sexually
provocative nature. Erotic photography should be distinguished from nude
photography, which contains nude subjects not necessarily in an erotic
situation.
4. Boudoir Photography
– is a photographic style featuring intimate, romantic, and sometimes erotic
images of its subjects, primarily intended for the private enjoyment of the
subject and their romantic partners.
5. Boudoir Photography
Photographic albums of nudes appeared around 1890 in France. Then, about 1900, the
French postcard was born and sold in secret in shops throughout Paris. These first
“sexy” pictures were really a production
According to Carla and Bob Calkins, owners of Motherlode Photography, a professional
photography studio in Diamond Springs, California, they invented the term “boudoir
portrait” in early 1980 after photographing a client who had trouble describing that she
wanted a portrait created with only some of her clothes on. They were looking for a
term that offered more elegance than “erotic portrait,” “seminude portrait,” or “sexy
portrait.” They chose “boudoir” because it was a French word meaning bedroom. Early
boudoir portraits mainly featured women wearing lingerie in bedroom locations. Since
then it has grown and grown.
6. Pornographic photography
- which is of a sexually explicit nature. Pornographic photography generally does not
claim any artistic or aesthetic merit.
7. Legal aspect
– As per the section 292 of IPC Nude photography is totally permissible where the
model poses willingly and the body beautiful is depicted in an artistic sense and
which does not raise the basic desire in the viewer.
– Section 292 is clear in its expression that works and publications of erotic
nature and of bad taste are punishable under this act. But it is very difficult to
define art and pornography accurately. They both overlap each other and the
views vary greatly from person to person. Each of them measures with a
different yardstick and these opinions stem from their varied backgrounds. A
simple act of breast feeding may be considered

23. Posing
Arms are the hardest to pose.
– Arms often add bulk to the body.
– Keeping them away from the sides of the body help slim a woman and show off her
curves.
– There a few ways to do this.
– In Body vs. Out of Body Posing
– In Body is when the woman has her arms within the lines of her body (torso) which
mimics and accentuates her shape.
– Out of body posing is when the woman has her arms outside the lines of her body
(torso) which allows us to see her shape without blocking it.
25. Posing
You can also combine the two!
-The key to make sure we see the curves and we don’t add bulk.
26. Posing
You can also use the arm to mimic the shape of the body
-This prevents the arm from adding bulk.
27. Posing
The same rules apply when your Model is
lying down.
– Your friendly reminder to “Relax your
shoulders” will result in the entire body
being relaxed, too.
28. Posing
Be Careful Not to Amputate
-It’s perfectly ok for a woman to only have one arm, but if she has two – let’s
show that.
29. Posing
Fingers
-We’ve ruined way too many photos for it. Give hands something to do
helps hide hands and makes your Model more comfortable in posing.
30. Posing
– Pushing the hips away from the camera makes them look smaller, defines the
stomach and lengthens the torso. This helps accentuate her hourglass figure
and minimize her thighs. Plus look at her gorgeous stomach!
Her thighs look much slimmer
when pushing the hip away.
31. Posing
When taking tush shots, we break the rules and push hips
toward the camera
– Pushing the tush toward the camera and out from the waist
down makes it much fuller and helps minimize cellulite.
32. Posing
When laying down, we are still looking for curves through the
waist and hips.
- This is a much better photo just by pushing the hip up
33. Posing
- This is a much better photo just by rotating the hips to the side
34. Posing
Knees
- When laying down the leg furthest from the camera
should be lower than the one closest.
- Look how much larger the back thigh looks when it is
raised higher than the front
- Raising the front leg is much more flattering.
