Once at hattlibrary.com, find the cluster pictured below located
on the left of the page and click on Tools for Readers.

Read-a-Likes
Clicking on Lists & Articles on the Toolbar at the top of the website will brings
up a link to Author Read-a-Likes.
From here you type in an author’s name:
Clicking on the author of your choice, you will be
directed to a short biography and then a write-up
that lists related authors and then explains their
connection.

Guides
Returning to the Lists & Articles link, click on Book Discussion
Guides and follow these steps:
• Type in the title of the book.
• Click on Link.
• Browse through write-ups, themes, and
questions that could aid a book discussion.

Awards
Returning to the List & Awards link, click on the Awards/Notable Books link.
This link allows you to search for books based on a
particular award.

By Age
Returning to the home page, finding book
recommendations based on age is as simple
as changing the age range.

typing in the title of a book and then browsing through the results.
