Team
Over the past two decades, our international arbitration lawyers have served
as counsel in hundreds of international commercial, construction and investor-
State arbitrations under the ICC, ICSID, UNCITRAL, LCIA, ICDR, SIAC, SCC, DIAC,
HKIAC, JAMS, PCA, OHADA and other arbitration rules. All of our arbitration
lawyers speak English and French fluently, while individual lawyers also speak a
variety of other languages, including Spanish, Portuguese, Arabic, Serbo-Croat,
Czech, Slovak, German, Russian and Greek.
William Kirtley
Partner
William Kirtley is a Franco-American Harvard, Columbia and Sorbonne-
educated international arbitration lawyer with two decades of experience
specialising in international commercial, investment and construction
arbitration at the highest level. He is a member of the New York and
Washington Bars and a former French Avocat à la Cour, who was previously a
member of the international arbitration practice groups of Shearman & Sterling
and Salans (now Dentons). He has served as lead counsel or arbitrator in
disputes on all continents.
Nina Jankovic
Senior Associate
Nina A Janković holds an LLM in Public International Law from Leiden
University, the Netherlands, and an LLB from Belgrade University, Serbia,
graduating summa cum laude. She was a Graduate Trainee in the International
Arbitration Group of Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer in Paris and a former
intern at the Permanent Court of Arbitration (PCA) in The Hague prior to joining
Aceris. Nina speaks English, Serbian/Croatian, Spanish, German and French
fluently. She is qualified to practice law in Serbia.

Zuzana Vysudilova
Senior Associate
Zuzana is a French-educated arbitration lawyer, who is registered at the Paris
Bar. She speaks English, French, Slovak and Czech fluently. She holds an LLM
in International Economic Law from the Sorbonne University in Paris and an
LLM in Litigation, Arbitration and Alternative Dispute Resolution Modes from
the University of Paris 2 – Panthéon-Assas. During her studies, she wrote two
master theses: on Procedural Treaty Shopping in Investor-State Arbitration
and on Anti-suit Injunctions in ICSID Arbitration.
Anne-Sophie Partaix
Associate
Anne-Sophie Partaix, a French national with significant international
experience, is admitted to the Paris bar. She was an intern at Herbert Smith
Freehills in Paris, an intern at Orano (ex-Areva), an intern at the Rasseck
Bourgi Law Firm and a legal intern at ENGIE prior to joining Aceris. Anne-
Sophie was a semi-professional fencer prior to becoming a lawyer. Anne-
Sophie speaks French, English and Spanish.
Isabela Monnerat Mendes
Isabela Monnerat Mendes is a Brazilian national who is authorized to practice
law in Brazil (São Paulo section) and admitted to the Paris Bar. She was an
Associate in Transnational Arbitration & Litigation at the Alfredo De Jesus O.
law firm in Paris prior to rejoining Aceris Law, where she was formerly a
trainee. She had previously been a trainee at Clifford Chance LLP in Paris and
Dechert LLP. Isabela has published a number of articles on investor-State
arbitration, in English and Portuguese, and speaks fluent English, Portuguese,
French and Spanish.

Anastasia Tzevelekou is a Greek-qualified lawyer based in London,
specialising in international law and arbitration. Prior to joining Aceris as a
trainee and then junior associate, Anastasia worked for two years at KPV
Legal, a boutique arbitration/litigation firm in Athens, assisting with
international and domestic arbitration cases. Anastasia obtained a Masters of
Laws in International Business Law at the London School of Economics. She
also obtained a Masters of Laws in International Commercial Arbitration,
graduating first in her class, at the Democritus University of Thrace in Greece.
Anastasia is native in Greek and fluent in English and French.
