New Girl Band Electryone is surprising the music charts with 3 top 10 singles in there
first year of being signed. Electryone were signed May 2011 by the music legend
Jay-Z who claimed he sees potential in the girls at Club New York owned by
P.Diddy. The girls didn’t just make an impression on rapper jay-z, they also made a
good impression on the beautiful Beyonce Knowles, wife of Jay-Z and new mother of
Blue Ivy. There are rumours of the trio soon to be collaperating together in the girl’s
new album which is rumoured to be out September 2012. Heres what the Girls had
to say;
Hey, girls, how are you today?
Hi, yes were fine, we couldn’t be happier lately.
And may that be because of your 3 singles in the top 10 after doing your first album?
I mean com’on! Amazing or what!!
(Laughs) Even when people say it we still don’t believe it, it’s amazing how far we
have come and how privilege we are to have had such an amazing opportunity to be
signed with such an amazing label and also work with such amazing people and
some legendary people too!
So everything is pretty amazing for the Electryone girls! Speaking of the name,
where did it come from?
Electryone is the name of a Greek goddess and it means the moon and we thought it
would tie in well with Luna’s name which also means the moon.
So it’s a creative name then?
Yes (laughs)
So, you were signed in May 2011 by legend rapper Jay-Z. How it all happen?
Well, we was asked to perform at P.Diddys night club to promote a new night for him
and luckily Jay-Z was there and after our performance he approached us and asked
who we was signed by and we said no-one we just come to show case our act and
then he immediately gave us his details and asked us to meet with him the next day
and from then on we have been full steam ahead on working with him and creating a
killer album! It’s been a rollercoaster and it all happened so fast but was all perfect at
the same time.
As everyone would LOVE to know, what’s it like working with Sean Carter himself?
AMAZING! (Laughs) He’s so lovely and always lets us do what we want to-do and
he’s really easy going. He gives us some great advice on what to make better and
he basically just helps us on everything we need help on. He’s not just a manager
who sends us to shows and makes us do what he thinks is going to sell, he’s more of

2. a friend who gives his own opinion on things and makes working fun and an
enjoyable

He sounds pretty amazing then! How’s your relationship with Mrs Beyonce Knowles?
She is lovely! She’s so genuine and friendly and not forgetting beautiful! Beyonce is
one of the few people who just want you to do well and praise you when we make a
good single! She’s more of a friend than anything and she’s always there when we
need some girlie advice!
Are the rumours about your collaperating true then?
Nothing has been confirmed yet and we have only just finished making our first
album so we are currently enjoying touring and doing shows and appearances so
you’ll just have to wait for our next album to see if we have or not (laughs) We would
love to though!
