1. Diclofenac

Important information
You should not use diclofenac if you have a history of allergic
reaction to aspirin or NSAIDs (non-steroidal anti-inflammatory
drugs).
Diclofenac can increase your risk of fatal heart attack or stroke,
especially if you use it long term or take high doses, or if you have
heart disease. Do not use this medicine just before or after heart
bypass surgery (coronary artery bypass graft, or CABG).
Upsides
Used to relieve mild-to-moderate acute pain
associated with osteoarthritis and rheumatoid
arthritis.
May also be used to relieve mild-to-moderate pain
due to other causes.
Generic diclofenac is available.

2. Downsides
-Water retention, headache,constipation,and nausea.
-Stomach-related side effects such as indigestion,belching,
heartburn, and bleeding. People of an older age, taking other
medicines that affect the stomach, or who drink more than 3
glasses of alcoholper day may be more at risk. Diclofenac is
more likelythan ibuprofen to cause stomach-related side
effects.
-May increase bleedingtime especially if given with other
medicines that also delay blood clotting.
-May not be suitable for some people includingthose with
kidney disease, a history of stomach ulcers or other
gastrointestinaldisorders, or with pre-existing cardiovascular
disease.
Shouldnot be given during or followingcoronary artery
bypass graft surgery.
