Editor's Notes
Warm welcome to the parents and students.
We share the statistics of the results of Grade 12, 11 and 10 with you. The grade 12 statistics are impressive.
How we achieve these results?
It is neither accidental nor incidental; It is a planned process- Structure, Student centred approach to support to individual students to the extent possible, training in assessments and focus on conceptual understanding.
And finally,
Every student stretches and every parent supports and every teacher strives.
Grade 11 and 12 are a continuum.
Results defy what is “normal”.
Introduce the Grade 11 teachers

Assessments are continuous and comprehensive based on the board pattern
Test papers sent home as per the schedule I am going to share with you.
In each term, 3 unit tests are conducted each with 25% weightage and Internal assessments with 25 % weightage.
The questions are typically CBSE type questions and prepare the students well on ‘how to write the answers’. ( as per the CBSE marking scheme)
Each unit test assesses understanding of concepts in each chapter, training to write and the teacher is able to diagnose areas of strength and areas unclear.\
The portion tested is 1- 1 ½ chapters only and students are told well in advance what the chapters for the test are.
WHY GRADE 11 IS IMPORTANT
Syllabus in grade 11 lays the foundation with the basics required in grade 12 as well
as the entrance exams.
